- Manikarnika Ghat - After a brief rest at your hotel and a hearty breakfast, the operator will pick you up again to continue exploring Varanasi. The second part of the tour begins at Manikarnika, where death is celebrated. Above the main burning ghat of Varanasi, one of the holiest cremation sites along the Ganges River, you will have the best vantage point for observing and photographing, while songs of repentance and smoke fill the air as the corpses are cremated for eternal peace. The operator will provide detailed explanations about the Hindu sacred rituals of death. Following this, the tour will proceed to the old town to explore the small and colorful alleys of the center, historical palaces, sacred temples, traditional ashrams, bazaars, and local markets, immersing you in local culture, tradition, and people. very good for an overview of old Varanasi - Rahul is a smart and helpful guide with a lot experiance. You could ask him everything about the old town of Varanasi! We highly recommend this tour to get an overview of how things work there!

Experience the real Varanasi - We had two tours in Varanasi. One was booked through our tour operator and the other tour we had booked with Rahul (on the recommendation of another tourist from New York). So we have material for comparison.
Rahul's tour stood head and shoulders above the rest. He showed us the real authentic Varanasi. We were also very close to the cremation site. Something the other guide did not dare/allow.
Thanks to Rahul we went to unique places that we would otherwise have missed. You could immediately tell that Rahul grew up in the old center of Varanasi. Many people knew him and no one said we couldn't go somewhere.
He also knew how to tell considerably more about life in Varanasi. As a professional photographer this was priceless.
It's nice to know that Rahul also takes photographs and therefore knows what you want to capture as a photographer. In short: I highly recommend Rahul's (Mr. Streetwise) tour.
On my next visit, I would like to book another tour through him. We also recommended him to our tour operator.

Varanasi behind the scenes - Rahul has given us an amazing insight in the culture of birth and death in Varanasi. He is a sympatic guy who grew up in the center and knows his way around to show you fascinating places and 'behind the scenes' that other guides will not do. He has a lot of knowledge about this sacred place and is enthusiastic to tell you all the fascinating stories of the gods and godesses.

Good trip to find out about local foods - The whole day was amazing. Rahul was an excellent guide and made it interesting. Will recommend this to anyone visiting Varanasi. He took us to places we would have not visited otherwise. The trip gives a good flavour of Varanasi

Unforgettable experience - Radjul, our guide in Varanasi!
With him we visited the most beautiful temples and streets of the old Kashi, the cremation ritual at Manikarnika Ghat as well as the spiritual and religious sense of the city.

Your guide to the underworld of the soul - This has been my second journey to Varanasi, one of the most mysterious and extraordinary cities that exist. A city with a millennia-old culture that still thrives in its streets today. A city that holds countless symbols, myths, rituals, and stories that you won't be able to access unless you find someone like Rahul, who can decipher hidden meanings for the tourist.
Rahul not only possesses extensive knowledge about the city and its people, but he is also a storyteller gifted with a special talent for immersing you in the magic of the city. His study and understanding of Hindu scriptures and rituals, having spent his childhood in Manikarnika Ghat and Old Kashi, his familiarity, and deep connection with the city, will allow you to reach forgotten temples that you wouldn't otherwise reach and hear ancient stories that you wouldn't otherwise come to know.
It's challenging to convey with words the sensations I experienced while walking through Old Kashi, listening to his narratives. Nevertheless, I can say that Rahul belongs to that tradition of guides who, like Virgil, lead you to hidden places and manage to establish bridges between the landscapes of the city and the soul.

Excellent and way beyond par!!! - Rahul ji is perhaps one of the best tour guides I have met ever.
I went with my wife and little daughter and Rahul ji was extremely engaging, informative, patient and caring. He took us all over the ghats and the city explaining in minute details every aspect and significance of the place.
Apart from the spiritual spots, he took us to some lovely places to eat some really yummy dishes. I can never forget the lassi and malaiyo!!!
Throughout the day, Rahul ji's only focus seemed to be our satisfaction. We felt extremely lucky to have found him. I would recommend Rahul ji to everyone visiting Varanasi.

Magic in Varanasi! - I had two amazing tours, one in the evening and one in the early morning. The itinerary crossed the most beautiful and emotional vendesi of Varanasi and it was a pleasure listening to all the interesting stories behind the places. Highly recomended.

Book with them! You won’t Regret - This was the best tour we had in India. Rahul was the best guide we could find. We were very lucky, he took us to places no one knows, helped us to go to a nice place where we could see the night ceremony by the Ganges. We booked two tours with him and we didn’t regret at all. Rahul was very helpful and accommodating to what we wanted to see.

The best Tour in Varanasi - Rahul made us feel really welcomed. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to places tourists would not know they exist. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the places which was really good. We were so delighted about the first tour we booked him for a second one the next day! He also recommended to us a restaurant by the Ganges which was soooo good!
