Tour of Varanasi was more than I could have imagined - I had an amazing tour with Neeleesh. My friend and I were only in Varanasi for a couple days so we thought it would be best to get a tour to truely understand and explore the place in this short amount of time and it honestly exceeded all expectations. It was very relaxing to be in Neeleesh’s company, he was lovely, funny and very knowledgeable. I’m very grateful for this experience and I highly recommend you do the same.

Neelesh was incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and provided great insights about the history and present of the city and why it’s so significant. Understanding Varanasi. - Wanted to understand why Varanasi was the holy city for Hindu faith.Visited temples but still did not understand. Neelish spent 2 hours in conversation at a restaurant to discuss the history and the Hindu religion. He answered our many questions, both of the city, the religion, and culture.

Found a Varanasi Guide Who Is A Good Teacher - Neelesh was a guide my friends and I spent time with to have a more in-depth conversation on why Varanasi is considered the holiest city in India. Neelesh was able to satisfy this quest. As a lecturer on Hinduism and knowledgeable about the history of Varanasi, he was able to clearly take us on a path of increasing our understanding about spiritual masters in Varanasi and get us to the present day happenings. I am able to see the faith of the Hindus in a new perspective and have more reverence and gratitude for my time in Varanasi. I wish I would have had more time with him as a guide.

Best guide we’ve had in our trip for India! - The tour is worth it since the beginning. Neelesh submerged us inside the Indian culture, religion and its actual situation while visiting many of the important places of Varanasi. Not only it served us to understand the holy city but many other things we had seen in the previous days in other cities. It was really comfortable asking him many different things which were answered with pleasure. The 3 hours tour flew for us. Essential tour!

Best way to start your trip - My friends recommended the boat and walking tour with Neelesh, and I'm so happy they did because it was truly amazing! The best way to start your trip in my opinion. I was a bit overwhelmed when I came to Varanasi as a female solo traveler, but after the tour I felt very confident to discover the city by myself. What I loved most about the tour is that you discover so much more about the city, it's history and the Indian culture than you would by yourself. I had many unanswered questions, but Neelesh was able to answer them all (in fluent English). We also had some really great street food and chai. Would 100% recommend and can't wait to meet him again when I'm back in October!

A terrific guide, who, sadly often has to work for an unethical tour company - Neelesh is knowledgeable, personable, and a terrific guide. He and his family welcomed me into their home to celebrate Diwali, which was a memorable part of my trip. My only criticism was that the company that often hires him, Wild Frontiers, which hired him as my guide, promised me specific times with him, then breached their contract with me, instructing him to give my time to other, apparently preferred, customers. This meant that I was short changed in time and things i got to see every day. So if you hire Neelesh, make sure this does not happen.
