Its name translates to ‘The Explorers’ in French, and it was inaugurated in 1920. It remains operational today, fully automated.
- Isla Martillo - Departing from Ushuaia’s tourist pier, the voyage sails through the bay to enter the Beagle Channel via Paso Chico.
The tour visits Bird Island, home to Fuegian birds such as albatrosses, skuas, geese, and gulls, and Sea Lion Island, where both one-hair and two-hair sea lions can be observed.
