The highlight of my trip! - This was an amazing experience for animal lovers! I am disabled and sometimes have trouble with my ankle, but I also walk for fun. For example - I can do about 12,000 steps before I am in pain. I did not wear my tracker for this experience. But I did manage it and was not in pain after. Do note, you should have sure-footedness as at some points you will be walking on rocks. There are two moments where you are on an incline but they do not last long. We walked for approximately 2 and a half hours, with breaks every 15 mins or so. On the breaks Kristina would tell us about the local area and about the goats. The area is beautiful to walk, it was stunning at the top of the hill. And it was the most authentic local experience we had all trip. The goats were lovely and were friendly. There are a few moments where you will have to leash your goat. This is to deter them from eating the neighbours plants. This was easy and no force required. Then they can be unleashed to freely walk beside you on your trek. The goats all have their own personalities and you can tell Kristina really loves them. She knows them and their quirks very well and they seem very happy to join her on her walks and live with her. If you are worried about the pace you can stick with one of the slower goats to not worry about keeping up with the group. I was towards the back with Rambo. But there was Dumbo and Seniorita Mare who were quite slow also. Overall, the experience was lovely. It was great to cool down at the end with some food and wine. Every part of the experience was personal, it was the highlight of my trip.

Just great from start to finish! - Just a brilliant experience from start to finish. Carmen was my guide, her personality was warm and inclusive & spoke German & English. The trio was completely different to anything I’d experienced previously. I felt it was also very helpful to be collected from my hotel. You Must Go!!

You have to visit!! 5* excursion! - Brilliant!! Both Katrina and Annie-Marie, are welcoming and knowledgeable, they made the excursion feel personal and meaningful. They have a real passion for the job and will go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. The goats are very well looked after and have a great life with Katrina! All the goats have unique personalities & made us laugh a lot. Beautiful lunch too! 5* would definitely recommend.

Great tours on Fuerteventura - Great experiences on Fuerteventura! We booked 2 tours with Kristina in October and are absolutely thrilled: The first tour, "Trecking with island goats," took us to the center of Fuerteventura. We went up and down with the goats, while Kristina provided us with lots of interesting information about life on Fuerteventura in the past and today, the nature, the landscape and the animals. Halfway there was a nice little picnic so that we could master the descent with strength. The second tour took us through a wild lava landscape to a volcano that - like all volcanoes on the island - is no longer active, but despite its initial desolation, it has a few surprises. Afterwards, we were able to marvel at the processing of aloe vera on a guided tour of an aloe vera farm, test the products and enjoy a final picnic in the adjacent beautiful garden - a huge contrast to the volcano visit. The tours are highly recommended. You no longer see Fuerteventura as just a surfer's paradise, which makes it even more attractive. Tip: Sturdy shoes are essential if you don't want to have sore feet and you should have a certain level of fitness at least for the tour with the goats. Dear Kristina, keep it up!!!

Well worth it for something quirky and different! - I enjoyed this trip so much! So did my daughter. We are still talking about our goats and the funny things they were doing. Our guide was really kind and spoke a lot about the goats, general info about the island and when we reached our destination, she prepared a simple picnic that hit the spot after so much walking. The local goats cheese was delicious. The goats were very entertaining! They all had different personalities - we walked them on leads on the roads and let them free when we were in the “wilds”. I loved how the goats just walked with us like we were all one pack and they even stopped to check any stragglers would catch up. You could tell they were happy animals and they enjoyed the trek as well - sometimes frolicking around. Very memorable and if I come back, I’d do it again! 100% recommend this event - it’s different, quirky, and memorable.

Fancy something a little different? Awesome day out! - We had such a fun day with Kristina, the dogs and the goats! A really lovely way to see the landscape and a very authentic experience. I know it may seem a slightly strange way to spend your day - but the hike was so fun, the goats were adorable and hilarious and the area where we had our local cheese and wine was something you wouldn't do un-guided. Kristina is super knowledgable about the area. We would highly recommend this tour - especially to animal lovers. We miss Senorita Mayor (a goat) already :)

Great Day Out with Goats - We had a brilliant hike in the hills with Kristina and her 5 goats. It was such good fun - not too strenuous. We were part of a small group of 6 people. Kristina is very informative and has trained her goats really well - they were hilarious at times, and generally very well behaved. Depending on where you were walking they were either on a lead or walking beside you. During the walk we stopped for a light lunch of red wine, bread, goat’s cheese and tomatoes, which Kristina provided and was very tasty. On our return we met the newest member of her goat family, a lovely little black kid, who we were able to bottle feed. This was a great way of seeing a different part of Fuerteventura. Far superior to any other trip you could go on. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Fuerteventura. Thank you Kristina!
