Great value day trip - This was the second time we have used Julia travel. We booked with a very helpful woman at the kiosk on the sea front in Fuengirola. I had looked at making our own way to Gibraltar and with a tour at Euros 28 it wasn't worth bothering. There were only a few stops from Fuengirola and we arrived promptly at 10 am. The tour guide was super and repeated all the instructions so no one was in any doubt. Going through passport control was a breeze. Julia travel did remind us numerous times that we needed our passports. We only booked the shopping trip but that gave us plenty of time to go straight to the cable car, no wait because we were early, a good look around and a stop for drinks and lunch. The coach left at 2.45 and once again we were straight through passport control. We have alson done the day trip to Tangier which was just as well organised.

COULD NOT FAULT JULIA TRAVEL - We did two trips with Julia Travel and both were great. The Gibraltar Shopping trip being the first on the 1/11/2018. The coach was comfortable and on time and the journey time was fine; once there we had about 5-6 hours to do was we pleased and explore Gibraltar before arriving back at the coach for our return. A minor criticism is that our guide never gave us more information about Gibraltar whilst we were on the coach; other than that it was great and represented good value for money.

We decided to go for the shopping... -
We decided to go for the shopping trip as we have been to Gibraltar a few times. Our guide was informative and helpful and the trip was well organised. We had plenty of time to revisit our favourite places, and of course shop! The only slightly negative thing was the weather - it was wet and cold - not something we could control. We will certainly look to doing this trip again.

Julia Travel alright, Gibraltar boring but Apes cool - We (Couple, German, 30 yrs) took a Day Trip from Marbella to Gibraltar with Julia Travel which was alright. You can choose between a shopping only trip (22€), or a combination with either caves&monkeys (54€) or Dolphins (46€). Information beforehand was close to zero and the guide didn't speak german as we had booked, but apart from that we were quite happy with what we got for our money. While we were on the bus, the guide delivered some nice facts about Gibraltar in fluent english, spanish and french. One of us unfortunately couldn't cross the border without Visa and had to stay in spain for the length of the trip (4 hours) but for most countries a regular passport should be sufficient. Gibraltar is not very big and shops actually focus on either alkohol, cigarettes, classical souvenirs or some little amount of fashion what's maybe good to know before you decide whether to go there or not. The currency is Gibraltar Pound but you can pay in euro as well. What really was a highlight for us was the top of the rocks that we reached via a cable car for 19£ (21€) each. On top you have an unbelievable view on Gibraltar and the neighbouring cities, on the bay as well as the wide sea. You can enjoy this sight while having a good cup of coffee or a cold Coke in the little Café which is up there at the viewing platform. You can also meet a couple of monkeys on the platform, which come close for good pictures on one hand, but on the other hand get quickly interested in your food and even open bags' zippers on the hunt for it. Feeding them btw is stricly prohibited and fined with a high amount. So all in all, Gibraltar is alright for a day trip but not the big shopping paradise we had expected. Mountain Top with monkeys however is highly recommended!

Julia Travel did not provide full... -
Julia Travel did not provide full details of arrangements for the trip. Journey from Malaga to Gibraltar took 3 hours and 30 minutes with numerous pick-up stops. Return departure was at 15.00, giving us 4½ hours in Gibraltar. Coach had no toilet and there were no comfort breaks either way.

Rubbish - This is the perfect operator to choose if you want to stop ten times on the way. Gibraltar is lovely but I would suggest using any other company to get there.
