Into the Wild: The Journey Begins

The call of the wild is something I can never resist, and when I heard about the Dog Sledding Adventure in North Ontario, I knew it was time to answer it. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the enthusiastic barks of the sled dogs, their energy infectious and their eyes gleaming with the promise of adventure.

Before we could hit the trails, we were treated to a hearty lunch in a cozy heated tent. The warmth of the meal was a perfect prelude to the cold embrace of the snow-covered landscape that awaited us. The owners of the dogs provided a quick briefing on sled operation, and soon we were ready to embark on our snowy escapade.

After the exhilarating dog sledding experience, we headed south towards Barrie for a surprise addition to our adventure: snow tubing at Snow Valley. The thrill of speeding down the tubing hills was an unexpected delight, and riding in pairs added an extra layer of excitement as we raced down the slopes.

As the day drew to a close, we returned to Toronto, our hearts full of memories and our spirits invigorated by the day’s adventures. Lenka’s kindness in dropping us directly at the subway stop was the cherry on top of an already perfect day.
