Day trip to Southern point of India - We had a lovely day with our tour guide, James, who was a real gentleman and his son Adharsh, who was the driver. They were very knowledgeable and kind and were proud to share their food culture with us. The palace was well worth a visit but we especially liked the visit to the Statue of Wisdom which was really interesting. We would highly recommend this tour.

Pleasant day trip - James was an extremely informative guide. Adharsh an excellent and careful driver. As a solo female traveller I was completely at ease. The palace was outstanding. The visit to the island very special. I chose to visit the Kanyakumari temple which was lovely. When it rained I was provided with an umbrella. Long drive from Trivandrum however regular stops. I very much enjoyed the fresh lime and ginger juice. Thank you. Thoroughly recommend.

Our wonderful day trip to Kanyakumari - This was a fantastic day trip. We were picked up at 8.30am at Kovalam beach and returned back about 7.00pm in a very comfortable and clean car. Our first stop was Padmanabhapuram palace which was extremely interesting and well worth a visit. This was followed by our journey to Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India which included the ferry ride across to the rock and statue, an experience not to be missed. Adharsh and James were excellent guides, who had a good knowledge of the sites visited, spoke extremely good English and really looked after us all day long. We made stops to try local drinks, fruits and food. The whole day was very very enjoyable and a trip we wouldn't have missed. We believe it was made extra special by Adharsh and James by their attention to detail and kind and generous personalities. We would definitely recommend this trip

My trip to Pathnabha Palace and Kanyakumari with Adharsh - After finishing an excellent trip in Munnar , I thought not to go any more trips since I need to pack up and go back as few days were remaining in my Indian holiday . However after finding that one more day can be set aside for a one day trip, browsing through found that there was one day trip that going to Kanyakumari after visiting wooden palace . The name Kanyakumari was bit familiar to me and going to Tamilnadu means visiting of another state. Anyway , I joined the journey without muvh enthusiasm . However on seen Adharsh and his dad, James , I became more convinced -soon we made a rapport and it soon it became something like a family trip. Adharsh was a soft spoken young man . He can instil trust and confidence to any visitor . We dined together , shared soft drink together -indeed, it was a good company . He together with his dad James knew what they were doing . They know minute details on the Palace and Kanyakumari .The boat trip and visit to giant statue of Thruvalluvar came to me as a pleasant surprise . I am not sure these two items were well higligheted in the website . Otherwise, it could have been a great attraction to many tourists . All and all Ican assure Adharsh is a very resourceful and productive member to your organization . I thoughly enjoyed this excursion .

Adarsh James was a passionate guide & driver. He was very caring & diligent in his job while travel across Kanyakumari - During the travel we had excellent darshan and had fun traveling to the southern most tip of India. Explored few other temple where we had all three GOD, Brhma, Bishnu and. Mahesh were being worshipped in a single temple. The arrangements across stoppages were well handled by our guide Adarsh James. He was knowledgeable about the place and was very humble and generous in taking us to all beautiful places including gardens, museums, palaces and temples. We enjoyed the tour completely.

Super experience - Kanyakumari Beach is renowned for its captivating sunset views, which are a highlight for many visitors. Being at the southernmost tip of India, this beach offers a unique spectacle where the sun appears to sink into the meeting point of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean. Sunset Experience 1. Panoramic Views: The sunset here is a sight to behold, with the sun casting a golden and orange glow over the waters. The rocky shoreline adds a dramatic effect, making it a picturesque moment for photography or quiet contemplation. 2. Best Time for Sunset: The best views are typically between October and March, when the skies are clear. During these months, you can experience both sunrise and sunset on the same coastline due to the geographical positioning of Kanyakumari. 3. Viewpoints: The best spots to view the sunset include the main Kanyakumari Beach and the nearby View Tower. If you’re willing to pay a small entry fee, the View Tower offers an elevated perspective that enhances the sunset experience. 4. Spiritual and Tranquil Vibe: Watching the sun set at this unique confluence of three seas is almost a spiritual experience, drawing visitors into a peaceful reflection and sense of wonder. Tips for Sunset Viewing Arrive Early: Sunset draws a crowd, so getting to your chosen viewing spot early helps secure a good position. Check Weather Conditions: Cloudy days can obscure the sunset, so try to visit on a clear day. Bring a Camera: The sunset here is incredibly photogenic, and the colors reflecting off the water create stunning photos. Final Thoughts Kanyakumari Beach's sunset is a mesmerizing experience, and its uniqueness lies in the setting and serene atmosphere. If you’re visiting Kanyakumari, the sunset is a must-see—an unforgettable experience of natural beauty at the very tip of India.

All in all it was fun to know history behind Kanyakumari, Thiruvallur and Vivekananda Rock memorial - Trip to Kanyakumari was enjoyable though it was a hot day. Vivekananda Rock memorial story is impressive. It is exhilarating to be at the land's end and see Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal merge into Indian Ocean !

No go place for the families with kids!! - Poor!! No Management from the ship company! Normal line 75 Rs, Express line ( Fallacy) 300 Rs, people standing in bare sun scorching heat without any shade, breaking line, howling and creating ruckus but absolutely no control from the authorities! Astonishingly when asked the police personnel if there is any paid authorised parking they blatantly refused but when i walked inside i realised there was paid parking!! I don’t know if this behaviour was due to some unknown govt commitments or just a bad approach!! Finally after standing in the line for over 2 hours we gave up the ferry and came out! On walking towards the sunrise point we realised the ferry point was not even 200 meters, a small walkway or bridge could solve the problem! Basically it’s a kind of scam by the ship company!! However it’s a beautiful place but because of poor management from the authorities it’s a no go for families!! And hence the bad review.
