Experience an unforgettable afternoon trip in VW BEETLE Cabriolets, skillfully combining iconic western mountain landscapes of the island with thrilling coastal drives into the sunset. We’ll go through Soria, one of the most extensive mountain reservoirs in the Canary Islands, followed by a rustic, exclusive picnic at the children’s dam. Our journey continues to the awe-inspiring ‘EL MULATO’ viewpoint. From there, we drive through the charming mountain village of Mogán, by the renowned windmill and our top destination PUERTO DE MOGAN, famously referred to as the ‘little Venice of Gran Canaria’. We return via Amadores and Puerto Rico, enjoying the beautiful sights of the rugged western coastline with breathtaking panoramas of the Atlantic, making our final stop for a stunning sunset photography session. Terrific - We booked the convertible tour.
Our guide Isabella was great. Always made sure everyone was coming with us, waited above the traffic lights and took us to a wonderful spot for the sunset. We would book again at any time!

Fantastic tour that should be done - We visited here in August with my wife, 2 daughters and parents. First time my father has ever been on holidays and he loved this tour.
Got to see so much of Gran Canaria out the beaten track and our guide was fantastic.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to do something different. We visited aloe Vera farms and so much more.
It got so hot at one stage we needed to put up the roof and turn on the Air conditioning in the car. But the tour itself is phenomenal and worth doing!

Fabulous - This is the 2nd time we have done an outing with Buggy Pirates this year we chose the sunset with Isabella as our guide it was really great we saw a lot of things and we took a lot of photos.
And the picnic was very good too.
I recommend this excursion and at the same time I also recommend the 2nd cabrio outing that we did last year.

Sunset tour - Came across this excursion by accident as I was actually looking for something else. I have always wanted a convertible beetle so thought this would be perfect for my husband and I. So glad he did all the driving though as we were up mountain roads with massive sheer drops but the views were fantastic. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable pointing out different places along the way. Amadores for sunset was amazing with a light picnic after the sun went down, delicious. This trip was well worth the money and I would recommend this as a great way to see parts of the island that you may not necessarily see.

Unique experience! - We booked the Cabrio Sunset Tour and did it on November 2nd, 2023. We were picked up right in front of our hotel at around 2 p.m. We were a small group and we all had a lot of fun. The view of the mountains from the convertible was simply breathtaking. We stopped at several points for photos and our very friendly guide Plácido told us a lot of interesting things about the island. At the end we had a small, delicious picnic at sunset. At this point we would like to say a big thank you again for the well-organized tour. It is definitely recommended and was a real highlight of our vacation. We would like to do it again on our next visit.

Great tour with Plácido - My mother, my sister and I did the convertible sunset tour with Plácido and can only recommend it! He is a great guide, we were even allowed to ride in his car so that we could really enjoy the beautiful landscape and get a lot of exciting additional information about the island, he has endless specialist knowledge. We would do it again :)

Great trip. Would love to do it again. - We had a wonderful day, culminating in a picnic on the beach and sunset in Puerto Rico.
Big praise to tour guide Placido, who entertained us with lots of information and stories (in German).
The tour took us into the mountains over winding roads and very narrow streets to reservoirs and through beautiful valleys.
The cars were in top condition!
The whole day was an absolute highlight and highly recommended.
It's a shame that the website isn't completely in German, that would be my suggestion for improvement.
