Highly recommended: great experience - Trekking in Timanfaya Natural Park : spectacular loop tour. Sandra excellent and experienced guide picked us up with the van at a fixed point and took us until the start of the tour. He then accompanied us with his knowledge to the crater explaining without ever tiring everything there is DA know. She is very nice and offered us an aperitif with wine, olives, cheese, croutons and super delicious sauce produced DA her grandmother for us. She made a beautiful video that she immediately sent us the same evening and made herself available to take pictures of us on the crater rim. She is attentive to the care and maintenance of the park, she feels that she loves her wonderful land. Super recommended also because it is a real ride in the wilderness without using the bus and away from the crowds of people. Trying to believe😉. A hug to Sandra DA Petra and Franco. Very great tour, professional, personal and full of exciting stories - We booked the tour to Timanfaya National Park and could not have hit it better. Sandra was fantastic – she comes directly from Lanzarote, knows the island inside out, speaks several languages, is open, personable and very experienced. A great encounter that made the tour special for us. Absolutely recommend!

Amazing trekking experience - My children (8 & 12) and I joined Lavatrekking tour with our guide, Erik, who was amazing! He was very nice, kind, and knowledgeable. He gave us a very comprehensive history talk of the island and was very passionate about it. We walked 8K around a volcano reaching to the top of its crater. The views along the way were amazing too! We stopped for a snack provided by him (different cheese, bread, crackers, olives, mojo picón, and almond biscuits with some local wine). He was very kind to pick us up and drop off to our hotel since we didn't have a car. I would highly recommend this tour with Erik!

Trekking 25/04/2025 - Beautiful walk in the middle of the natural park, without difficulties (children 6 and 8 years old). Our guide Sandra was very interesting, passionate and masterful of the subject. A very nice snack break offered by Sandra. I absolutely recommend.

Great tour! - This trekking tour was done by a friendly and dynamic guide with lots of stories to tell about the area and the island, also giving many useful recommendations to do on the island!

Fantastic Excursion - Sandra greeted us like an old friend and nothing was too much trouble, she even collected us from our villa. Our guide on arrival at the national park was knowledgeable and helpful. We learnt loads about the island and the volcanoes history. The picnic in the crater was a perfect end to the excursion.

Excellent hike and commentary amidst the volcanoes - Me and my friend did the late afternoon hike and it was a great experience. Sandra and her daughter Ava were fantastic guides. Full of friendliness, energy, and fun. Throughout the whole 8km low difficulty hike they pointed out and explained various interesting things and answering any questions the group had with enthusiasm and passion. Their knowledge of the park, volcanoes and Lanzarote was evident and excellently conveyed. The park itself is a beautiful otherworldly place. It really feels like you’re trekking through an almost alien world or middle- earth at times. Stopping for a short picnic with some tasty home made snacks and Canarian wine provided by Sandra was the icing on the cake. I can wholeheartedly recommend trekking with Sandra if you’re at all interested in visiting the park.

All inclusive Tour :-) - Sandra is a great tour guide! (Eva also :) ) She made the hike very interesting and we learned a lot and learned more. It was a lot of fun :) she even edited a small video at the end and shared the pictures she took with us! In a break before the end there was some cheese, dates, aniseed cookies and crackers with homemade mojo and wine - great!. Sandra is really impressive - she can speak several languages and also caters to everyone individually We also got some recommendations for Lanzarote.
