Best tour guide ever! - We had the best tour guide ever!! Her name was Annie, she was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English and showed us the most interesting places. We have been to 68 countries and this was the best tour ever. Thank you so much! We are already planning our next trip to China!

Watertowns day trip - Very beautiful visit to 2 watertowns near Shanghai. Lea was helpful and engaging. It was also helpful to have a driver so the car was waiting at the end of each leg. In all, a cool day trip of unique, heritage sites off the beaten path from Shanghai.

Fabulous tour with lots of stops! - Our driver and Lea were absolutely great touring us through these small towns outside of Shanghai. It was really nice to get out of the city and even better to have an air conditioned vehicle to leave our things between stops! Highlight of the trip was absolutely getting a shell cracked open to pearls where a gentlemen made me 2 sets of earrings, 2 necklaces, 2 rings, and a bracelet (all for roughly $100 usd). Very cool experience, great sights/pics. Would highly recommend when visiting to get out of the city! Would do it all over again with no changes to our itinerary!

A Flexible, Family-Friendly Day Trip from Shanghai with a Wonderful Guide - We had a wonderful day exploring Suzhou, Zhujiajiao Water Town, Yu Garden, and the Silk Museum with our guide, Melinda. She picked us up right at our rented flat in Shanghai, which made things so easy, and later even dropped us off at New Town Plaza instead of home—a great recommendation of hers.
Melinda gave us plenty of helpful tips for our stay in Shanghai, and we ended up enjoying all of her suggestions. The best parts of the trip for us were Zhujiajiao Water Town, with its charming canals, and New Town Plaza Shanghai, which had a lively modern feel. Yu Garden was also very pretty and worth seeing. The Silk Museum started out fascinating, especially the demonstrations of how silk is made, but much of it felt more like a shop—so that may or may not appeal, depending on what you’re looking for.
What really stood out was how customized the whole day felt. We had enough time for everything, went off-schedule when something caught our interest, and everyone in the family—from kids to grandparents—found something they loved. That flexibility made the experience really special.
Overall, I can warmly recommend this trip and Melinda as a guide. It was personal, flexible, and full of great memories.

Amazing day tour to water cities! - We had the best time in these 2 water cities so close to shanghai! Very good vehicle and excellent driver! Melinda, our guide, was absolutely amazing—so knowledgeable and super helpful throughout the tour. She made the whole experience unforgettable. The tour was 100% worth it! Thank you so much!

Great overall service. - The private family tour we took to Suzhou and Zhujiajiao was a wonderful experience, especially walking through the old water towns. Our guide Melinda was very knowledgeable of its historical significance and very proficient in English. Unfortunately, we went on a very hot day but Melinda was very mindful of our route and our needs for water, washroom access and food. She always had the car close by too, just in case. Even an after-service check to make sure everyone got back safely. Overall, a no hassle and great service with everything inclusive from start to finish. Thank you for a memorable family trip in China.

Sammi shared with us historical facts about Chinese history of the area and it was interesting to hear it.
I personally like it when the tour guide would advice you about the best things to do Shanghai 😊
