Stavanger city walking tour-April 2025 - So, we booked a walking tour of Stavanger independently whilst on a Norwegian cruise holiday rather than going through the cruise line’s official route. Not only was this far cheaper but just as good! We had our guide Andrea who sent regular Whatsapp messages to give us easy to follow instructions on where to meet and the whole process was very well organised. She was there slightly early and turned out only myself and my wife were on it so we had a very personal tour.
Andrea clearly knew her stuff and we had a two hour informative tour and now know lots about this vibrant Norwegian city. We can highly recommend this tour and the guide.

Highly recommend this to get a taste of Stavanger - Very good tour.
We were blessed with great weather which made it even more enjoyable. Andrea is a lovely informative guide and always checked if we had any questions. She made it more fun by sharing slips of paper with Norwegian words and phrases for us to keep and practice. 2 hours walking on cobblestones is enough and we saw plenty. Good selection of meeting point and the company kindly let us know beforehand that it’s only a 10 minute walk from the ship. Highly recommend it

Nice Walk! - I had a blast on this walking tour in Stavanger! Our guide was super engaging and shared so many cool facts about the city as we walked by the harbor, which had the best views of the fjords in the distance. The vibe of the city was so relaxed yet vibrant. It’s the perfect way to see all the highlights without feeling rushed. Definitely recommend!

Walking through the beautiful Stavanger! - Just took this walking tour in Stavanger, and it was such a cool experience! Walking through Old Stavanger felt like traveling back in time with its quaint, colorful houses. The guide was great, giving us all the inside stories at places like the Stavanger Cathedral and the Viking artifacts at the Museum of Archaeology. We also strolled along the harbor with the best views of the fjords, absolutely stunning. Plus, learning about Stavanger’s maritime history was way more interesting than I expected.

Wonderful! - This walking tour in Stavanger with our guide Andrea was wonderful! She was very friendly and explained everything in a simple way, which made it easy to understand. Andrea shared interesting facts about the history of the buildings and the city. I especially liked the charming streets and the lovely atmosphere. I learned a lot and had a great time exploring Stavanger!

Stavanger walking tour! - Exploring the old town of Stavanger on this walking tour was a fantastic experience! We wandered through the charming streets and saw the lovely wooden houses that are very colorful. The guide told us interesting stories about the history of the old town, including the beautiful Stavanger Cathedral, which is one of the oldest in Norway. Walking around these main spots made me appreciate the rich history of Stavanger even more. I really enjoyed this tour!

Muy bello me parece genial - I had a lovely walking tour in Stavanger! The city is full of beautiful buildings, especially the old wooden houses. They are small and painted in bright colors, which makes the streets feel warm and inviting. The guide explained how these houses are very old and important to the city's history. I also saw some modern buildings by the harbor, which looked very interesting. It was amazing to see how the old and new buildings come together in Stavanger, making it a unique place to visit!

Our guide never showed... - Our guide never showed up. We were there 10 minutes early and waited a full hour in the cold, called Viator who emailed the local people but got no response. We sure never expected this.
