Amazing trip - Fantastic trip. Our guide, Felix, was incredibly informative and entertaining. The wineries were so welcoming and fun. We learned and enjoyed some great wines. The trip could not have gone better. Thank you Felix!

Worth it - Overall great experience and awesome guide. Nice to see different wineries, towns and lots of history.

Fun - Absolutely amazing! We loved our tour guides Aida and Imanuel. Both very funny and easy to talk with. The wines were great and the views were so nice.

Excellent wine, views, and people - Really excellent tour, the wineries were both excellent - especially Tritium - in large part to do with the incredibly charming Ara. The views of Rioja were beautiful, and Jeremy was a great and obliging driver and guide. Had a great time with the rest of the group as well, met some amazing folks

Had a fantastic trip to Rioja - We had the best tour to Rioja from San Sebastian. Our fabilous guide, Joselu had so much experience and good storkes that we had more knowledge in one day with him than we could get in one week. He was obviosly proud of his Bask Country and Rioja and the visits at the two great wineries were a really good experience.

Rioja vineyards and tasting - Our tour guide was extremely informative and gave us a great deal of tips for our stay. There were just 4 of us so it was relaxed and friendly. The wineries were fabulous and the whole experience was topped off with a lovely lunch at LaGuardia overlooking the Rioja vineyards. Excellent day out!

A lovely day in Rioja - We had a fabulous time visiting the two wineries. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the Basque area and culture. We were in a group of only four people so it was very easy to ask questions and get to know the other couple. The transportation was comfortable and we loved looking at the vineyards from the window. Both wineries had welcoming staff and we learned so much about Rioja wine that we can impress our friends back win Ireland with 😉 We went for lunch in Laguardia with our guide and the rest of the tour group and loved eating the local cuisine and chatting. We even got engaged straight after we got back to San Sebastian so the tour will always hold a special place in our heart.

Enjoyable time had by all - The Rioja wine tour was amazing! I only wished we had more time to relax and enjoy the views. Jousoleu was the best guide and made us feel right at home. He picked us up and gave us lots of insight of the Basque Country. The 2 wineries that we went to were very nice and enjoyable.. they each came with fresh meats and bread and olive oil local to the region (which was amazing!). Can't wait to come back!

Long Day! - Everything started off great! Driver picked us up early, we picked up another passenger at a different hotel. Unbeknownst to us (other passenger included), we had no idea nor did it say in the itinerary that we were needing to take a 2-hr ride to begin our tastings. During the entire 2-hr drive there was zero commentary as to where we were and what we were looking at. Driver said “I will not talk at all as I need to concentrate on my driving” (fair enough). Upon arrival to first tour -we arrived approximately 20-min late (traffic not our driver’s fault). Upon heading to our 2nd tour (another 30-min drive) our driver got turned around. Finally made it to our 2nd winery tour. Very nice! After this tour, we sat for Pintxios and wine (was very nice!). But again-a 2hr commute back to the drop off. Upon arriving at our drop off location driver couldn’t figure out how to get us back to our hotel. My group was dropped off approx. 10/15 min walk from our hotel where we were picked up that morning. The wine tastings were great the few minutes to sit and eat lunch and chat was great! However, the time it took to get to and from, which was not disclosed was excessive. Maybe next time I’ll call the tour operator prior to booking to get a full itinerary.
