We had such a wonderful... - We had such a wonderful day trip to North Macedonia! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience seamless. Skopje was full of surprises—from the impressive statues and the historic Stone Bridge dating back to the 1400s, to learning about Mother Teresa’s birthplace and childhood home. The old bazaar was such a highlight, with its vibrant shops and local charm. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and perfectly paced. This tour gave us a great mix of history, culture, and fun—we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore beyond the borders!

This is definitely a... - This is definitely a great trip. Only downside is the long ride there. Leaves you only a couple hours in Skopje but well worth it if you are looking to cross countries off your list. The driver was great and provided a lot of insight about the history of the region.

Awesome tour - It was a great trip we had a good driver for the 4 hour drive to Scorpje though the Balcans. Our Tour guide was fantastic for the 2 hour tour of Scorpje after we had 2 hours free time before heading back to Sofia. They picked us up at our hotel which was very convenient. I recommend this tour. You learn a lot about the history of North Macedonia.

Amazing time - To start our tour off, Vito arrived early to our Airbnb jumped right out to greet us. I only have amazing to be a to say about Vito. He is so funny on the 4 hour drive over to Macedonia. He provided us with more information and history along the whole drive. He told us this was his first day on the job but you would never know it. Crossing the boarder was no issue at all. It’s slow, but that goes with every boarder crossing. We made to bathroom stops on the way before meeting up with the tour guide in Macedonia. When we arrived at the meeting spot for the Macedonia guide we greeted there and introductions were made. Our guide there was great. She was informative about everything Macedonia and was very knowledgeable of the long and interesting history. This was 2hr so we did need to move along quickly. When the tour was over we have 2hrs to explore ourselves. Not long enough time to explore and eat. I would suggest either eating and exploring at the same time or bring food with you. Macedonia was incredible and I wish that I had booked a few days here. Our driver/guide Vito was waiting and ready when the time in Macedonia was done. Again our drive back was fun and entertaining. I did read comments about drivers driving fast, but I think people were not aware of the speed limit on the highway. It is 140kms/hr in one section so some people may not be use to that. Vito was super safe and aware of everything. My only complaint of this trip is the van that the company uses. There were 8 people in the van plus the driver. The front seats in the van do not adjust at all so it’s super uncomfortable. I would suggest that the company only take 7 people in the van so there is room for people to sit comfortably as you are driving 4hr or more each way. Other than that, the tour is excellent, well worth the trip and I would happily book other tours with this company again.

Fantastic Trip ( long drive) - Driver was really great! Obviously 4 hrs is a long time so be prepared. I was surprised how different North Macedonia was - the history and culture. It was very interesting.

Day trip to Skopje North Macedonia. - We travelled for four hours from Sofia and it was really worth it. A lot of Skopje was destroyed by an earthquake but it has been restored so tastefully. Its lovely to walk along the river with many restaurants from around the world. Macedonia square is stunning with many statues and fountains. You also have the old town bazaar which you have to visit.

Well worth a few hours - Very interesting to get into countryside and then to see Skopje. Not like anywhere I have ever been with gargantuan buildings amoungst not much. After-building from earthquake but it doesn't quite work. Recommend see for youself. It's a long day, but worth it and timely stops and interesting guide.

The trip itself was wonderful, but our driver was very reckless and dangerous getting us to and from. - Let me begin by saying the trip itself was wonderful. Our driver Theodore was on time, kind and respectful. Our guide Valentin in North Macedonia was very friendly, knowledgeable, and mindful of our free time. You get to see the highlights of Skopje, and get enough time to shop and get lunch. Overall, a wonderful experience. My grievance with the trip is how dangerous and reckless our driver Theodore was, getting us to and from Sofia. I understand the drive is long, but why not start the trip a little earlier if time is an issue (pick up was at 0750)? Our driver was speeding on the highway most of the way. I saw the speedometer hit 154 km/hr (94 miles/hr) at one point!!! He was reckless in passing cars when he crossed on the left (oncoming traffic was close a few times). He was also busy at times looking at his phone trying to change the music instead of keeping his eyes on the road at that speed. While in a small town, we even had a close call where he almost hit someone on a bicycle because he was going too fast. The trip itself was amazing, but I was not comfortable during the transfers, so for anyone who might have an issue with this, I don’t recommend it.
