After a drive of approximately three and a half hours, you will arrive in Skopje. During the drive, you will gain insights into the Bulgarian perspective on the region’s history. Upon arrival, enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the city led by a local Macedonian guide. This tour offers the opportunity to hear stories about Yugoslavia and contemporary life in the country, enriching your experience. You will also have the chance to compare historical interpretations and form your own conclusions. Key sites include the Old Fortress, Sultan Murat Mosques, and the Old Bazaar, where you can see Caravanserais (inns) from the Ottoman era when Skopje was a major trade center in the Balkans.
Skopje Fortress Kale - This historical fortress, located at Skopje’s highest point, offers breathtaking views of the city.

Enjoy a boat trip through the canyon, passing by what is likely the world’s deepest underwater cave. After exploring this site, your local Macedonian guide will return you to Skopje and drop you off at your hotel.

Skopje - Spend the day exploring Skopje at your own pace, visiting highlights you may have missed the previous day. Your local Macedonian guide will recommend museums and attractions that align with your interests. At 3:00 pm local time, you will be picked up and transferred back to Sofia, Bulgaria.
