- Carcross Desert - The Carcross Desert is located just minutes outside of Carcross on your way to Emerald Lake. This is a great stop to get out and stretch your legs, walk up some sand dunes and enjoy the beauty of the area.
- Emerald Lake - About 10 miles outside Carcross is Emerald Lake. This is the turn around point of our recommended route. Emerald Lake is a pristine green lake surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Staff was great, jeep... - Staff was great, jeep needed new tires, they were very bald, iPad tour didn’t work most of the tour. Probably wouldn’t use this company again unless we were given a better maintained Jeep.

Fun under the sun while exploring historical/beautiful Yukon area of Skagway! - We had the absolute best time driving around the Yukon area of Alaska! The staff was amazing and made the trip seamless and smooth. They provided us with an audio presentation of the area. Has we drove along that we could listen to and enjoy. The information was informative and educational. I would totally recommend this excursion for anyone who travels to Skagway. The Jeep was clean, easy to drive, and just plain fun! When we return to Skagway, I am quite certain that we will use them again in the future. As a professional traveler/sales rep for carnival cruise this gets a five star rating from me.

Jeep tour - We had a great time seeing the things we wanted on our own. Much better than being on a big bus. We went all the way to Emerald Lake which was amazing. Highly recommend.

Amazing adventure and experience - Excellent Experience! Exploring the beauty of Skagway on our own, driving around in the Jeep was so awesome. Stopping along the way, when we wanted to admire the beautiful scenery, majestic mountain view’s and waterfalls. I recommend taking your passports on the experience to drive into Canada to see more wildlife and beauty. So amazing! Such a great way to see more than the normal “tour excursions” and have more time to explore own your on. Highly recommend and would definitely do again.

Lots to see if the weather cooperates - It was super easy to find the Jeep pick up point. The staff was super friendly. The audio guide did not work for us so we had to read the booklet they gave us. What little we got from the audio guide we enjoyed, so it was disappointing not to have it work. The first half of our trip up to the lake was complete fog and rain. We did eventually get some clearing and were able to enjoy the views at the top and on our way back. Lunch was limited to one restaurant in Carcross. It was pricey but decent food. Overall, we enjoyed our day. We did see a black bear on the side of the road and got some great video. We understand the weather is outside the control of the tour company, but it still put a damper on it.

Self guided jeep tour - You may want to bring snacks and water. You can stop at Carcross for food. We are on Bistro on Bennett. Food was good but it was crowded. Make sure you have a camera and binoculars. Would have been a 5 but the iPads had issues with connecting. Our friends’s iPad never connected to Bluetooth but they were able to hear the commentary through the iPad
