Great afternoon on a private trip to Sintra - Fantastic afternoon with Diogo. He was very knowledgeable and excited to show us the area. We visited the beautiful town of Sinatra and the Quinta de Regaleira to visit the Initiation Well. A must see if you are in the area. He knew some great shortcuts so we were also able to visit some other locations. He made a couple of other suggestions based on our preferences, such as trying a local pastry and spirit. He was also a very safe and considerate driver. Would absolutely recommend

A must if you don’t have too much time to spare… - Great little escape from busy Lisbon…loved Sintra and Quinta da Regaleira was interesting and beautiful…had a great half day…and most of it all thanks to our tour guide Tomas🙏🙏🙏 very professional and knowledgeable young man…. And yo out luck he is a local!!! So imagine everything he knows…. If you don’t have much time we will greatly recommend this tour…. Thank You Tomas!!!

Gotta go to Sinatra! - Pleasant and knowledgeable guide…we explored local foods and drinks…very exciting! We experienced inside views of the palace which were amazing!!

Fun trip! Great local guide - This tour was great! It really helped having a local to show us around. Gonçalo was knowledgeable on the area and was very friendly. He was awesome with suggestions for where to go and what we should check out in Sintra and in Lisbon. Great communication before the tour so we knew what to expect. Highly recommend these guys! The worst private excursion, ever! - Nothing bad about the boy, he was okay but without experience and any idea what a guide does and how to behave. He really doesn't know. I blame the operator, his boss for sending him to a client that wrote clearly that his wife could not walk far. Then he sends someone without the proper licence to drive to Quinta da Regaleira. It turns out he must have his drivers licence for 5-7 years, and he was just 20, so he parked kilometers away. Before we left, he did not bother to ask our wishes, he suggested to stay in Cascais and tour around there OR go to Sintra as we booked. Okay, Sintra of course. We really wanted to see the Royal Palace but we found out after seeing Quinta da Regaleira that he was not planning to go there. Then he said that we could not go into the Palace but he would drive to it so we could at least see it. We are both sure that was what he said, but his English was below any standard. Leaving Quinta da Regaleira he pointed towards the mountain, far, far away. That was the royal Palace! Next we expected he would drive us there, but instead he went straight towards Cascais, where we were staying. I asked him if this was the touristic way to the Royal Palace and he said that he already showed it to us! Really a nice boy, but he is not a guide by any means. For us the day was spoiled by all this walking and he had offered us a nice snack several times, finally we said, okay. I did not want any so he ate mine. When the bill came we expected it was on him, as a tiny token that he was norry. But no, he waited for me to pay, which I did. It is not the money, but the Sintra tour that we had been looking so much towards, was a total disaster. The tour operator gets the 1 out of 5 because I cannot give the zero he deserves!

Tour canceled due to lateness of tour operator. - Driver was almost 40 minutes late for pick up and didnt communicate that until after pick up time when we called to question arrival. Had to cancel since had a flight in afternoon and wouldnt have enough time for tour. Extremely disappointing!!
