An exceptional day in Sintra - Booked a 3-4hour tour directly on the Discover Sintra Tuk Tuk site. I was able to see the main Monuments (castles and palaces) around Sintra as well as visit several beaches along the coast (Praia das azenhas do mar). Such a wonderful experience and Raquel, the tuk tuk guide, made that happen! She listened to what I wanted to see, offered suggestions such as there was time for me to walk the exterior of Pena Palace as I wasn't very interested in seeing the interior. Raquel also provided such great insight within her story telling of King Ferdinad, the Moors, and the underground tunnels around SIntra.
This tour is a great option if you want to take the train on your own from Lisbon, meet your Discover Sintra Tuk Tuk guide at the train station, see Sintra via Tuk Tuk for a few hours and still have the afternoon and evening to explore Sintra and walk around grab dinner before heading back to Lisbon on a train. Its a great balance of time with a tour guide and also time discovering on your own for a solid full day.

Amazing day in Sintra by Tuk-Tuk - Amazing day spent with the most knowledgeable guide "George". A great way to spend the day and explore all that Sintra has to offer and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend this trip to all and ask for George! He is the BEST!
