Half day in heaven! - We went on a half day trip to Sintra and Cascais. Absolutely gorgeous scenery throughout the drive and the places that we visited were outstanding. Carlos was our driver and guide. He is a superb conversationalist and told us so much about the places we visit, as well as about Portugese lifestyle, history and most importantly, made sure we tasted the Sintra pillows - you have to taste it to believe how divine it tastes!!! Highly recommended to go on this tour if you are tight on time and please do ask for Carlos!

Pena palace half day - Carlos was knowledgeable and a wonderful driver. Good idea to buy tickets in advance with transport and check in with ushers to ensure you don’t needlessly wait on a long line. They adhere to times on ticket but there may be a number on people ahead on the queue with later times.

Perfect half day trip. - Carlos was a lovely guide who tailored the half day to what we wanted. We loved both Palaces and never felt rushed.

Luis was a wonderful and... - Luis was a wonderful and knowledgeable. He was completely agreeable to any wishes to a change in the itinerary. We quickly learned that at least a whole day tour is necessary to appreciate Sintra.

What are you waiting for, head to Cascais and Sintra! - Carlos Santiago was top-notch! The best part of a country is her people and the passion that they have for her. Carlos was an ambassador of the rich, vast and multi-dimensional history of Portugal. In addition, he was timely, engaging, and warm. He certainly made our trip memorable! Sinatra and Cascais - breathtakingly beautiful! The people are sincere and friendly. It's safe. Get packing for a trip of a lifetime.

Do Caiscais for a half day - Forget the rest. Do Caiscais for the Half day. Peña is not worth the trip for half a day. Maybe do the Amo Irish fort to get good pictures of the palace. Don’t pay the money for the palace
