Diving into the Depths: My Red Sea Adventure in Sharm El-Sheikh
Drawn by the allure of the Red Sea’s vibrant marine life, I embarked on the PADI Open Water Diver Course in Sharm El-Sheikh. The experience was a perfect blend of professional instruction and breathtaking underwater exploration.
Arrival in Sharm El-Sheikh
The moment I set foot in Sharm El-Sheikh, I felt the familiar pull of the ocean calling me. As a marine biologist, the allure of the Red Sea’s vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life was irresistible. I had heard about the PADI Open Water Diver Course and knew it was an experience I couldn’t pass up. The anticipation of diving into the crystalline waters of the Red Sea was exhilarating.
Before my trip, I had been in touch with Maria from the Pyramids Diving Center. Her prompt and helpful responses made the planning process seamless. I was particularly excited for my son, who was set to complete his open water certification. The thought of him diving alongside me, exploring the underwater world, filled me with joy.
The Dive Experience
The Pyramids Diving Center team was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at ease. Fabian, our instructor, was a wealth of knowledge and patience. His passion for diving was infectious, and he ensured that my son was comfortable and confident as he embarked on his diving journey.
Our open water dives took place off the jetty at our hotel. Despite the proximity to the shore, the underwater scenery was nothing short of spectacular. The coral reefs were alive with color and teeming with marine life. Each dive was a new adventure, and watching my son complete his course was a proud moment.
The Boat Dive Adventure
After the open water dives, we embarked on a boat dive, which added another layer of excitement to our trip. Initially, the scene was a bit chaotic, but the team quickly organized everything, and we were soon aboard a beautiful, spacious boat. The journey to the dive sites was serene, with the gentle sway of the boat and the vast expanse of the sea around us.
The dives from the boat were nothing short of incredible. We even opted for a bonus third dive, which, although it came at an extra cost, was worth every penny. The underwater world was mesmerizing, and the experience was enhanced by the fact that my wife could snorkel while we dived.
