History made fun - We highly recommend this Greyline tour over the Old Savannah Tour which we did the day before. There was no comparison as our guide, Michelle was so knowledgeable and made the history of Savannah come alive in a most entertaining way. The boat part was OK and if you have not done a paddle boat worth a try. There was a narrator but the noise of other passengers not at all interested made hearing it almost impossible.

Excellent experience! - Everything was great. We did a trolley and a boat ride tour of the city. They were both on time, well organized and the tour guides were excellent. Both of the tour guides were friendly, very informative and fun, at the same time. Thank you!

Stay on Land - Savannah Land was great! Radar was so informative and friendly.
Sea portion while he told many jokes and gave history the shoreline is mostly industrial so not pleasant to look at.

I wish we'd had a better experience - I really wanted to give this tour a higher rating, but the end of it was so poor that it lowered my entire experience. After disembarking the boat, we went directly to the shuttle stop (departing at 5:15pm according to the written instructions, and we also let them know at the beginning we'd be there) only to discover the shuttle pulling away at 5:10pm. We tried to flag down the driver - people on the shuttle even asked her to stop! - but instead we were left stranded at the riverfront with no way to return to where we'd started. I went into the ticket office to explain the situation and the employee just shrugged. It still wasn't even 5:15, when the shuttle was scheduled to depart. My elderly parents and I were just stuck.
Overall, the trolley tour was fine. The tour guide was boring and repetitive but it was okay and the city is beautiful. The boat ride was really nice, actually, and the guide there was entertaining. I was just so disappointed with how it ended up and how dismissive the ticket office was.
I can't honestly recommend this tour because I can't be sure you won't have a similar problem, but if you'd like a moderately entertaining afternoon and to potentially spend even more on transportation that should have been included, the risk is yours to take!
