Relaxing, fun and informative kayak trip - We went out with Jeff on Friday, August 29. The 9:30 am trip. Jeff was immediately warm and welcoming. He provided each of us a bottle of water and a dry bag, got us into our single kayaks and we were off. Jeff is knowledgeable about the flora and fauna we saw along the way and the history of the areas we paddled. He is safety conscious and a great advocate for the waterway and the natural environment we were traversing. He was a pleasure to spend time with and we were so happy and relaxed the entire trip. We highly recommend Jeff and his kayaking excursions!

10/10 Kayaking Tour - We had an incredible kayak tour with Captain Jack! He accommodated a last-minute kayak request when other companies couldn’t, and his flexibility made my birthday plans come together. The tour was well-paced and informative, with thoughtful insights into the local wildlife and ecosystem. We saw manatees, found shark teeth, and learned about native plants—all without feeling rushed. He also kept an eye on the weather and made sure we stayed safe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a knowledgeable, reliable guide

We were able to see... - We were able to see manatees the minute our kayaks were in the water. Our tour guide Jeff said that it was rare to see them and we saw several at once in the beginning of our tour. It was a great experience!

We'll go with Jack again. - Great kayak excursion with Jack. Knowledgeable, good communicator (just enough and when appropriate). Interesting tunnel and small coves ; fun to see the estuary post-2024 hurricanes with Midnight Pass open.

The Guide Makes the Tour - I've kayaked these mangroves before with family. Again today with family, I was skeptical about doing a guided tour. Our guide was stellar, blending information on area history and local personalities with the physical lands and marine habitat, all while standing up and paddling backward. Bravo! Intelligent delivery, well-versed, engaging and funny. I think our entire group was delighted. Thank You!
