Wonderful experience! - Wonderful experience! A taste of typical Canarian food in a traditional Guachinche. Then super romantic sunset over the clouds with a glass of cava. When the sky gets dark you can observe billions of stars and the Milky Way. The passionated guide explains all the constellations, planets and stars with a laser and telescopes. We had a wonderful time 🥰. If you do the excursion, note it can get a little bit cold up there. Jackets, pants, covers scarfs… can be welcome!

Magical sunset and night sky! - Took in a magical sunset above the clouds and I loved seeing the stars and moon up close with the telescopes! Spectacular, well organised & definitely recommend! Bring some warm layers for the stargazing. Once the sun has gone, at altitude it is a lot cooler.

Great tour and guides, shame about the food. - Guides and coach driver we very friendly and knowledgeable. The drive through the national park was really fun and interesting. The sunset views over La Palma were lovely, seeing Teide before, during and after sunset was amazing. Star gazing was fantastic (just remember some extra warm clothing for later in the evening) The only disappointment for us was the dinner, food quality was poor, not all staff were particularly friendly and the venue wasn't good. I think the tour organisers should change the venue or take a buffet along with the coach party to improve the overall experience of the tour. Then we would have awarded 5 stars.

And there was Venus and it's Ok - First of all, the tour operator was very nice, and promptly reply to inquiries. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. I just wish that the bus has a better sound system, so I could hear and understand her better. The first hour off the trip was dedicated for collecting other tourists from other hotels. The drive up to the mountain was spectacular. You'll see beautiful sceneries and landscapes. The Canarian dinner that was included was OK. The chicken was dry and the fries were soaking in oil. They provided enough wine and soda to keep your mind off the food. We arrived at our destination just in time for the sunset. Honestly, I have seen better sunsets. The only difference is the location. Then, darkness fell and we saw Venus, the only cosmic body there for the longest time. Then, slowly, all the other stars showed up. But to be honest again, I have seen more stars in my backyard. I was expecting to see like the one on their advertisement. If you decide to take this trip, bring a jacket as it gets cold up in the mountain. Also, there are no toilets there. In summary, the drive up was spectacular, the dinner was ok , the sunset was ok, and the stargazing was just ok.

Sunset good Dinner bad!! - We were advised that the pickup time had changed from 4pm to 3 10pm. Butbwe weren't picked up till 3 40pm, got good!. We then went around the town collecting different people. Then headed up to Mt Tiede. Stopped for a 20min break at a shop who were more than expecting us with souvenirs and toilets. Then got to the top to await the sunset along with hundreds of other people. Sparkling wine was OK. Sunset fantastic. The knowledgeable guide with her telescopes was very good and it was well dark before we left for our "dinner". Well at the San Miguel Restaurant the food was like a "bushtucker trial " the soup was like dishwater with skin and bones in. Cold cooked potatoes were on the table waiting for us, sliced bread in a paper bag on the table. And then the hot cooked chops came out, everyone went for them but the chicken was not roasted as we were informed but broiled, and that was dinner. No one ate the pudding as we thought it was off! Stick to beer as the wine wasn't that good. Then we got back on the coach for a nail biting journey down the mountain which was good in the dark. But make your own mind up if you choose this trip.

Sunset good dinner bad - Were told pickup time changed from 4pm to 3 10pm. But weren't picked up till 3.40pm. Sunset was good, Sparkling wine was OK, Stargazing was good with a knowledgeable guide, take warm clothes as temp drops to 9degrees. Dinner was like doing a bushtucker trial! Didn't know what was in the soup, bones and skin. Cold potatoes already on the table, bread in a paper bag. Chips were served hot but the chicken was not roasted but broiled. We had beer but wine not nice. Take sandwiches with you if still hungry. And face masks as no mask no trip. It is in the t&Cs. Driver and guide were good, especially driving down the mountain in the dark. We went in November.

Overpriced - Overpriced and the meal at Papillon restaurant was not even worth giving to a dog. Booked through Tui rep. The overall trip was good, the sunset and the stargazing but definitely not worth €79 euros each. The restaurant smelt musty and toilets needed a clean, which is enough to put you off your meal. Food was chicken thighs with some potatoes, chocolate brownies were like the volcanic lava!

I didnt recommend it at all - A very poor trip. Bus without heater, phone chargers and wifi did not work. The telescopes were weak, stars could be seen dimly. People went to other organizers' telescopes where the planets could be clearly seen. The guide walked around by himself without explaining anything. He said little and the view through telescops was poor. The laser was almost invisible to show the planets. After that, they took 40 minutes in complete darkness to go to the restaurant, where the meat was burnt and the dessert was jar of yogurt. I recommend to choose others service providers for that trip.
