- Mount Teide - Our Night Sky Star Safari is a comprehensive stargazing activity for all. Including a meal at an authentic Canarian restaurant on our way up the mountain and also stopping for an amazing sunset from above the Sea of Clouds, our activity is your introduction to the night sky, stars and the Universe. It includes the guided use of telescopes for night sky observation of visible planets, the Moon, stars, galaxies, etc. Join us as we take a safari trek across the night sky with our lasers using constellations and detailed explanations of the science and mythology by expert astronomy guides. While in Tenerife, these astronomy tours are an ideal excursion for holiday makers, taking advantage of Tenerife being one of the best locations in the world for both professional and amateur astronomy. GOOD organizer when things go BAD! - We were one of those groups with bad luck when it came to the weather, so we basically missed out on both the sunset and the stargazing. It was sad, but the company had excellent routines to just shut the operation down and take us home before anyone got really uncomfortable (note: it’s very cold on the mountain compared to the sun trip you came for). On the bus down, the guide offered refund or rescheduling with no guilt tripping or sentiment at all if you felt that going up again was too much effort.
Only thing is like to note to the organizer is that you gave two numbers for the amount refunded. On the bus you said 75%, in the communication the day after you said 66%. I think it’s still very generous, so it doesn’t affect my sentiment, but just a heads up if someone else gets hung up on that in the future.
All in all, there seems to have been no issues with the refunding via TripAdvisor either, so I really can’t complain. You did the absolute best you could with weather conditions that was too unforgiving to deal with.

A must do in Tenerife! - Absolutely great trip. Pre communication was exceptional. I didn't have great expectations for the meal but it was OK and we were lucky to have great travelling companions. The actual event was fantastic. Someone get Kieran his own astronomy TV show! It was a gamble as it was on my 60th birthday and ifbit had been a poor trip it would have been a shame. Photos included where others rip you off. Worth every penny, thank you!

Great excursion! - Stunning sunset above the clouds! Great narrative provided by Kieran with multiple chances to view the stars and moon. Comfortable coach ride and lovely supper. Highly recommend this excursion!

Great stargazing evening. - Picked up on time. All guides (and driver) were great and very knowledgeable. Restaurant was basic - really this tour should not include a meal and then it could leave later in the day.
Fantastic stargazing. Unbelievable what you can see with the naked eye, all enhanced with the telescopes. We had a great night. Awesome professional photos taken by Craig, included in the price - much appreciated. It is very, very cold up Lady Teide - be warned!

Fab evening! So fun and learnt so much - Fab evening - Canarian dinner, followed by catching a magnificent sunset and then an amazing star gazing experience. Lots of WOW moments throughout the evening. The magic half moon and seeing Jupiter for the 1st time. Would definitely do again as the guys were so knowledgeable and easy going. Having the special photos included was a superb bonus. Highly recommend.

A fantastic learning experience - Wow, just wow! A great trip. Knowledgeable hosts and a never to be forgotten experience. This is a fully recommended trip for anyone on Tenerife but go prepared. Wear lots of layers and take advantage of the hosts hot chocolate hospitality and the loan of one of their Puffer jackets.

Bundle up - Excellent guides, excellent events for the excursion. Take their advice when they say to bundle up. I recommend hats and gloves. If I had one comment for improvement it would be with regard to the building next to the location we stopped at for star gazing, regarding a security light that seemed to be directly pointed at us really was distracting from the event. I heard others comment on it as well. Were it not for this, I would give the excursion 5 stars. I really think it is one of the best excursions of our trip and one I think everyone should consider.
