Perfect experience - I took the Piedras Rojas and Lagunas Altiplánicas tour with Expediciones San Pedro and the experience was wonderful. The landscape is stunning, with the turquoise waters of the lagoons and the unique red rock formations. Our guide was very friendly and it was clear that he had great knowledge of the area, which made the tour even more interesting. Additionally, the organization of the tour was excellent, with comfortable transportation and well-spaced stops at each location.

A unique experience - We did the tour of Piedras Rojas with the San Pedro expeditions agency. We had breakfast in in the highland lagoons was amazing. We visited flamingos in the lagoon chapa. Excellent service. Recommended 100%

Beautiful landscapes and fauna - A very nice tour where you can observe fauna and beautiful landscapes of the highland area of Atacama. We could observe beams, a salt flat, as well as beautiful lagoons and volcanoes.

I recommend 100%! - I would like to thank Expediciones San Pedro for the incredible experience I had on the tour to Piedras Rojas and Altiplânicas Lagunas. I traveled with reduced mobility and from the very first moment the Guide was exceptionally attentive and attentive. It not only helped me move safely at all times, but also took the best photos, allowing me to enjoy the landscape without worry. Absolutely Extraordinary - The full-day tour of the Altiplanic Lagoons was absolutely extraordinary. Excellent experience with a great agency - I recently experienced the Piedras Rojas and Altiplanic Lagoons tour in San Pedro de Atacama, and it was unforgettable. The agency provided excellent service: the guide was informative and passionate, the transportation was reliable and comfortable, and the lunch was delicious. The breathtaking landscapes were the highlight, and we had ample time to enjoy them. I highly recommend this agency for a well-organized and memorable tour.

Great experience in the Altiplanica nature - From the first contact there was a fluid conversation with the agency, and the experience of the tour highly recommended, the guides very attentive and willing to relate and show the places and animals that can be. The place the fascinating, beautiful, there is a trail route q allows a dive and captures of beautiful postcards.

Disorganization - I do not recommend. The organization is bad. They have no communication. They're rude. We conduct the red stone tour, which includes lunch. What they never warned is that the choice of the agency itself and without any warning to the customers, they choose to only serve the lunch after the walk, which is all day. We went to lunch only after 17:00. We went hungry for hours. The start of the tour was delayed by an hour to suppress lunch. The other agencies offer a better service, lunch during the tour, with a beautiful view. When I went talk sound the agency about ma experience, were rude and rude not interested in my complaint.

DON’T BOOK THROUGH TRIP ADVISOR as they use third party providers who don’t pick you up. - Well I rate this a 1, but should be a zero as the guide did not turn up. In Atacama, I highly recommend DO NOT BOOK with Trip Adviser or Viator or Get your Guide as they use third party providers who do not have a vested interest in looking after you. If you are pre-booking, ONLY Pre-book with people who have a good online presence for their own business like On Safari Atacama, as you are working directly with the business and tour guides themselves.
So I had booked this experience a good 2 months before I arrived as was the only trip I really wanted to do and I waited until I was here to book the others.
I went to the third party shop front 2 days before and confirmed I was on their list, which I was … was no. 1 on their list and only one.
Then I went the late afternoon before to confirm details and they said they would confirm pick up that night.
So I write to them at 8.55 pm asking for pick up time. He said wait for wattsapp group, I said it had not come through. So he rang me directly and said pick up will be between 6 am and 6.40 am.
The guide did watts app me a group and I went to sleep.
The next morning, the wattsapp group had been deleted. But as I had verbal confirmation I still went to pick up point at 5.55 am.
By 7.12 I am texting the third party provider, then they came through with because I had not been on the wattsapp group the guide did not pick me up.
So basically the way this worked was : Trip Advisor, booked this trip through SAn Pedro Expedicionnes who then contracted the trip to Eco-Adventures.
So third party contractor whose guide, so yet another level, just decided on whim not to pick me up!
I was SOOOO disappointed and quite upset as I really wanted to get to the Atiplanic Lagoons and go high up in the Andes here at San Pedro Atacama. And as this was my last day, this could not be rectified. I am still waiting to hear how I get my money back?
