An Active Volcano - I liked the route even though it was very cloudy to be able to see the volcano well. But hence the Poas Strawberries super recommended. The guide, very knowledgeable about the history and other information about Costa Rica. I would definitely return and hopefully be able to see it well 🌋🥺 The Alsalcia farm for a good coffee 👌

Excellent half day tour !!! - This the only volcano where you can see the crater bottom and sulfur gad coming out. The pickup and drop off was smooth. The tour guide was knowledgable and the driver was very good too! Will take this tour again through Tripadvisor- Hassle free booking and communication

Volcano + Coffee Farm - Our Tour guide, Marcela was very knowledgeable. She gave us a great in-depth description of the area. The Coffee farm visit was a plus! Very nice experience

Great volcano experience. - Marcela was very friendly guide and made a great trip experience. She explained clearly all the activities and history about the volcano and community around. I always recommend this company.

The volcano excursion destination fully met expectations - coffee farm just a relaxation point. - The trip was well organized with lots of explanations about the surroundings, nature and the special features to be observed during the trips to the observation platform. The view of the crater was very good, the clouds of smoke only partially obscured the crater center. The safety precautions were impressive. The stop at the coffee farm was more of a break measure, as no explanations were offered by the farm.

Fair. Good. Nice. - It was fair. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperative and we could not see the volcano crater at all. The Alasacia Starbucks coffee farm was merely a scenic stop and opportunity to purchase a relatively expensive (yet delicious) Starbucks coffee. Our guide was warm and sweet, but I would have appreciated a little bit more in-depth information about our surroundings, our sights and experiences.

Bad customer service and little information about the coffee - Strong points • Reliable guide (arrived 30 minutes before the start of the excursion), kind, allowed me to buy an excellent coffee (Peaberry) in addition to the one planned in the itinerary, accommodating (I was wrong , I had bought ground coffee rather than beans and he agreed to make the exchange), patient (we waited almost 2 hours to have the chance to see the Poas volcano partly cleared). • Very special to see the crater of a volcano. • Beautiful scenery at Starbucks Coffee Farm. Things to consider • Inside Tours takes a long time or does not respond to messages. • Don’t forget anything in the van. I forgot my hiking poles. Despite numerous messages and my guide trying to call, Inside Tours never responded and I therefore did not find my poles. • Lack of information for the coffee tour. I would have liked to know more about the process of making coffee. This is just a stop to drink (no free tasting) and buy coffee. • Given the bad conditions (eruptions), we were able to stay 10 minutes in front of the crater rather than the maximum 20 minutes planned. Whether it's 10 or 20 minutes, it's a very quick visit.

Could be better - Was nothing I expected, very short trip in my opinion and they took us to a restaurant of their choice which was pricey. Just be aware

need better customer service - Very well traveled. They can't even respond to us even after the confusion of putting us on the wrong route.
