10/10 recommend! - Probably my favorite excursion on this trip. Percy was a great tour guide. The rest of the crew on the boat were friendly and welcoming. You will be off the map on the island. Just a heads up, you completely lose service but you have the option to buy a WiFi card when you get there. Beautiful island, clear blue water, delicious piña-coladas and boozy coconut water. I suggest taking a beach ball to kill time but they have options to rent kayaks as well. Definitely recommend!

Island retreat. Clear blue waters, neon blue fish! - The experience was a must for our Costa Rica trip. The bus ride to and from location was comfortable (a large tour bus). The bus did stop at a fantastic breakfast spot attached to a top notch souvenir shop. Once at the docks, you ride a large and fast speedboat to the island (expect to get a bit wet). On site there is a short boat ride to go snorkeling at a nearby rock formation. The water was clear and fish desensitized to visitors. You could get close and see all kinds of tropical fish with ease. Lunch was a good portion, though depending on your level of physical activity I would bring snacks. The beach was slightly coarse sand. A few optional activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. One important note is there is no free bathroom on the island ($1 USD per use). The staff were friendly and enjoyed elevating the experience through stories about Costa Rica or assisting with pictures.

Relaxing day at the beach - This was excellent way how to spend a day on the beach! Great customer service, transportation and island was cute with amazing views. Beach itself was pretty rocky, don’t expect powder sugar sand. Lunch was delicious as well as drinks. You only pay 10$ for chair with umbrella. As a solo traveler I had an awesome time. Snorkeling was right by the beach, not the best visibility but still plenty to see! Our tour guide loves his job and it shows! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend - Relaxing and calm. Enjoyed being on the water and going around the mountains. Seeing the spider monkeys and whales close up was beautiful.

Tortuga island - Trip was fantastic. There was a misunderstanding with pickup times, so my mom and I missed our tour for the date we scheduled for. I messaged Yenry and he was amazing. He rescheduled us for the day we wanted to reschedule for without a problem. They were funny and very nice

Tortuga Day Trip - The trip took us two hours by bus and 50 minutes by speedboat. Along the way we were able to stop at El Jardin restaurant for an amazing breakfast (note: not included in fee). I should say I was also very impressed with the bus. It was immaculate and smelled very nice. [No eating or drinking on the bus] There was a gift store in which we could purchase souvenirs or a much needed water bag to protect our items for the boat trip. We were provided life vest on the boat. Along the way we saw the spider monkeys. However no dolphins or turtles at this time. Remember in order to snorkel, you must already know how to swim due to the waves and the guides eagerness to provide safety. Arriving to the island, it was a wet landing. On the beach you can purchase drinks ( alcohol is an option). Note that the island is not inhabitable so there is no electricity and the restrooms available you must pay to use. The lunch we were provided with delicious (options: chicken, fish, or vegetarian). After which we were provided cookies and coffee. It is an experience and if you love beaches with water vessel views, then you will get a kick out of this. The bus ride back we encountered a lot of traffic. It would have been nice to get a restroom break. The tour guide, boat captain, and assistance were really nice and knowledgeable.

So much fun for a couple! - It was so much fun! The guide was great and very helpful; booking this visit saved me a lot of trouble planning transportation to visit the island on my own. Lunch was delicious, and the bars were fairly affordable and had non alcoholic options. We spent the perfect amount of time on the beach and were back at our hotel in time for dinner!

Fun in the sun - Tour guide (Nell/Marinella) was great and communicated the time for each event. We saw dolphins on the boat ride and many fish and starfish while snorkeling! Part of the beach/water is a little rocky so I recommend wearing water shoes. The boat ride back was its own adventure! (High waves)

Must see resort in Costa Rica! - Our tour to Tortuga Island was phenomenal! I personally had a small mix up with my reservation, but was quickly rectified via email and was also redirected to Jay. We had Jay as our tour guide and he made the experience more fruitful. From pick up to drop off, everything was punctual, organized, and well-communicated. Though breakfast was on our own at El Jardín, lunch was delicious at the actual island. Jay was patient, funny, kind, and a fun individual! He was also well-mannered. Overall, I 💯 recommend this excursion. Side note: the coach bus utilized for this tour is the BEST! Spacious, chair reclined far back, and so comfortable. I did not mind one bit being on this bus. Anyways, Ask for Jay! 🐢
