The main objective is to sail around Vigur Island, observing puffins on the water, black guillemots, and eiders. Vigur Island and its surroundings are home to nearly 100,000 puffins, 1,500 black guillemots (the largest colony in Iceland), and thousands of eiders. The tour also passes through areas where humpback whales are often spotted, although sightings cannot be guaranteed. Don’t forget to bring a camera, and binoculars are highly recommended for viewing seals basking on the rocks during low tide.
Participants are advised to wear warm clothing, as temperatures at sea can be cooler than on land.
