Couldn't have asked for better - Our guide did a great job with explaining very well & throwing in some humor. He got us through the basics without spending HOURS in the museums. Allowed us ample time in the Sistine Chapel & gave us great instructions on the St. Peters Basilica & then allowed us infinite amount of time there. Definitely an A+

The BEST way to see the Vatican! - The ONLY way to see the Vatican is with pre-purchased tickets - unless you just love waiting forever in long lines under the hot sun! This Viator tour was exactly what we wanted. We met a few blocks from the entrance, walked over, and were inside quickly. The artwork in the Vatican is spectacular, and the grounds are magnificent. Our tour not only covered parts of the museum and the Sistine Chapel, but also St. Peter's Basilica. It was fantastic!

headings: skip the line worth your money - when i got there i saw a massive line seems 3/4 hours to waste and get tickets
a lady approached and offered us skip the line
decided to take a chance really worked and worth it
we paid more we know but did not make that line
they are good and service was quick enough to be appreciated

Vatican tour - Our tour guide was Ace ( can't remember her name though) very knowledgeable and quite funny. Very good to get the queue jump at the Basilica queue

Good value and great time - If you want to know inside information and have someone to bounce questions off of, this is the tour for you. If you want to take your time and look at every single thing available, then solo may be better. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and he was understanding of everyone's different needs along the trip (I didn't have any, but many did).

Once in a lifetime experience - Loved it. Knowledgeable tour guide who was able to overcome some main office snafus to get us in. We didn’t realize we’d also get the Roman Forum too. Incredible history.

All in a day in Rome - It was a great option for us because we had only a day in Rome. This tour take us all important places with a good English speaking guide and we had skip the line at the evening for colosseum palatine and roman forum with an audio guide . Prices we paid was worth enough

Buyer Beware - Tour operator sent last minute message late the night before our 10:30am Vatican tour, informing us that our tour time had been cancelled and only offered us an option 2:25pm. But we were only in Rome 1 day while in port from a cruise. So we tried to make it work. When we arrived at meeting point the tour operator assured us we would get inside museum by 2:35pm (since we were on tight schedule to get back to our Cruise ship meeting point by 4:30pm.
But once we actually got in line for the museum entrance it was already 2:35pm and the guide just shrugged and said “maybe it’ll be a little longer to get in today..” We also paid the high price for tour because they promised access to St Peters Basilica after exiting Sistine Chapel, which we later found out we could not take advantage of since we ended up having to leave our tour group early to make it back to our cruise. we never would have accepted this forced change to our tour time if the tour operator had been honest and upfront about expectations AFTER they had already changed tour time on us at the last minute. AND watch out when they say NO Refunds, I should have known better.
