Marvellous on every level. - Our guide, Ilaria, was absolutely marvellous. So knowledgeable, enthusiastic and accommodating. She opened our eyes to so much more than we expected and we learnt a great deal. Views were spectacular and not to be missed. Feel very privileged to have had this experience.

Not very good - Colosseum Park The Colosseum Park required a queue We stood in line together, me and you Your feet were aching and our guide was dull She spoke at length, but used descriptions full Of basic knowledge we had known before. A long time passed before we reached the door. But Rome still holds us, with its grand array Of monumental buildings. One might say That they themselves are what makes Rome still great And why we’re still prepared to stand and wait. Having enjoyed our pause under the sun, We reached the front and entered, one by one. Our guide abandoned us, thought us too slow, So what she might have said, we’ll never know!
