  • Sapori di Capri - Anacapri is a comune on the island of Capri, the Ancient Greek prefix ana- means “up” or “above”, signifying that Anacapri is located at a higher elevation on the island than Capri

  • Blue Grotto - The Blue Grotto (Italian: Grotta Azzurra) is a sea cave on the coast of the island of Capri, southern Italy. Sunlight, passing through an underwater cavity and shining through the seawater, creates a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern. The cave extends some 50 metres into the cliff at the surface, and is about 150 metres (490 ft) deep, with a sandy bottom

  • Giardini di Augusto - The Gardens of Augustus (Italian: Giardini di Augusto), originally known by the name of Krupp Gardens, are botanical gardens on the island of Capri. The gardens, designed in terraces overlooking the sea, can be considered a testament to the rich flora of the island of Capri, with various ornamental plants and flowers

  • Monte Solaro - Monte Solaro is a mountain on the island of Capri with an elevation of 589 m, its peak is the highest point of Capri.

Statue of Emperor Augustus. It contains the “Fortino di Bruto”, a blockhouse which was used in battles between Britain and France in the early 19th century. It is characterised by its “sheer dolomitic slopes” which form an “unsurpassable partition” between the eastern and western sides of the island. Marina Grande lies at the foot of the mountain. It became popular with painters due to its “romantic situation, affording extensive and beautiful views to the NW of the Tyrrhenian sea, the gulf of Naples” Up the mount there is a statue of Emperor Augustus who first landed on Capri.

  • Villa Jovis - Villa Jovis (“Villa of Jupiter”) is a Roman palace on Capri.

Villa Jovis is the largest of the twelve Tiberian villas on Capri mentioned by Tacitus. The entire complex, spanning several terraces. While the remaining eight levels of walls and staircases only hint at the grandeur the building must have had in its time, recent reconstructions have shown the villa to be a remarkable testament to 1st-century Roman architecture.

Stunning - Sasha the local guide was wonderful. The blue grotto was closed for the day but the sights we got to see from the boat where just as fascinating. It is absolutely beautiful there

Capri is stunning. Tour too short. - Capri is beautiful 😉. The time spent in Capri is way too short and we spent so much time waiting to board buses. It was a hurry up and wait. After all the waiting, we only had 2.75 hours and it was a whole day tour. Recommend to stay overnight in Sorrento for more quality time in Capri.

Capri in a Day - This was an amazing excursion but was not informed during the booking of the trip we could book the Blue Grotto with lunch option. And would have been nice to understand how crowded it truly would be - the guide was nice & the motor coach was nice especially the air condition during the heat wave.

Great tour guides, poor customer service - Our guides and drivers were all amazing, but booking this trip was not okay. After asking specific questions about whether transportation on the island was included, we boarded the bus and were told that the boat and mini bus would cost extra $94 per person. Also the restaurant where we had our included lunch was terrible. The food was bad and they charged us $6 for 8oz of lemonade.

unexpected second tour guide - Gray line tour guide, Clare, was very efficient, check in, keeping the group together, but for the over two hour ride gave no information on the Island history or local info. When we got on the ferry we were transferred to the Island guide, George, who went around to all members of the group explaining how expensive the Restaurants, Taxis, bus's were, and that he knew all the right places visit on the island. All this for only an additional $57.00 euro's Cash per person. The tour advertised a guide, which i assume was Clare, and no mention of additional cost for the second guide. If we had not opted to take George up on his offer we would have been left at the dock on our own with our a guide. When we travel we have all ways used Viator to book our tours, and all ways been very satisfied.

Terrible - Very bad experience. We got left behind when we were in the blue grotto, the boat left with our stuff! We had to hop on another boat with other people and wait till they would go back to the mainland. Other than that, we weren’t included in the tour, and are wondering where all the money we paid went to! Would NOT recommend.
