Visit the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine on foot. - We booked a guided tour to discover these monuments. We loved our visit, we were a small group of 12, a big thank you to our guide Rosalia, who was very pleasant and perfectly bilingual.

Fab tour, highly recommend - Fantastic tour, our guide Rita was brilliant, so informative and had lots of pictures so we could see before and after. The views were incredible, barely any wait time and she was really organised.

Forum and Colosseum tour with Lena - A truly breathtaking experience! The Forum is awesome. Our guide Lena was extremely knowledgeable and shared her knowledge with passion, good humor, and enthusiasm. The fact we could skip the queues of thousands was worth the price of the tour!!!!!

Not the best experience. - We had very high expectations of this tour and unfortunately it disappointed. First, the pick up was very late, which is understandable at some level. The guide was very bland and at some moments she seemed bored. We were expecting so much information about this place with some many great stories but not our case. At the end of our tour which was less than two hours she told us that we can stay to take some pictures but to be aware not go thru the exit sign since we couldn’t come back in again. Little we know that we couldn’t go to any other level at the coliseum and the only place that we could enjoy was the library and the EXIT. Therefore, we weren’t able to enjoy other floors at the coliseum. Very disappointing!

Go without a guide - I would have enjoyed the experience more without the guide. We had a mixed group, and I feel as though she didn’t know where half the group was half the time. In addition, the group was made to wait or do things differently because of some participants that came late, almost at the very end of the tour. She wasn’t very understanding of the needs of some group members who couldn’t walk as fast due to age. She wasn’t very engaging so we found ourselves not paying too much attention. The sights were beautiful, and the history is rich, but I think I would have enjoyed it better with an audio guide than an actual person.
