The Thrill of the Roll

As an adrenaline junkie who’s scaled the heights of the world’s tallest peaks and plunged into the depths of the most daunting canyons, I thought I’d experienced it all. But when I heard about the OGO Adventure in Pigeon Forge, I knew I had to add it to my list of heart-pounding adventures. The idea of being encased in a giant transparent sphere and rolling down a hill was too intriguing to pass up.

Arriving at the Outdoor Gravity Park, I was greeted by the sight of these massive orbs glistening in the sun, each promising a unique thrill. The park was easy to find, nestled just off the main drag, and the staff were as welcoming as they were professional. After a quick briefing and securing my belongings, I was shuttled to the top of a 1,000-foot hill, my heart racing with anticipation.

The moment I jumped into the OGO, I was transported back to a time when life was all about fun and laughter. The loader zipped me in, and with a gentle push, I was off! The sensation of slipping and sliding inside the sphere, with water sloshing around, was unlike anything I’d ever felt. It was a wild, exhilarating ride that left me breathless and grinning from ear to ear.

A Ride Like No Other

The park offers three distinct tracks, each with its own flavor of excitement. I started with the FUNnel track, a zigzag course that had me and my fellow thrill-seekers laughing uncontrollably as we tumbled and turned. The camaraderie inside the sphere was infectious, and the shared experience only heightened the thrill.

Next, I braved the Fast Tracks, a high-speed descent that had my adrenaline pumping at full throttle. The sensation of being slightly out of control, yet completely safe, was a paradox that only added to the excitement. The ride was over in a flash, but the rush lingered long after.

Finally, I took on the Extreme Zig Zag, a solo adventure that tested my mettle. The twists and turns were more intense, and the ride was a true test of endurance. As I emerged from the sphere, soaked and exhilarated, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment. This was zorbing at its finest, and I was hooked.

Memories in Motion

One of the highlights of the experience was capturing the adventure on camera. I brought my own GoPro, but the park also offers cameras for rent, allowing you to relive the thrill long after the ride is over. Watching the footage later, I was reminded of the sheer joy and excitement of the day.

The staff at Outdoor Gravity Park were exceptional, their enthusiasm and professionalism adding to the overall experience. Jesse, Maddie, Zeke, and Ashton were not just facilitators of fun; they were part of the adventure, ensuring that every moment was memorable.
