Fabulous tour - do it! - This was a really excellent, fabulous trip. Expensive, but it was a long day - 11 hours! - and we packed an awful lot in. A special mention for our guide /drive Dylan Kincla who handled his duties impeccably. He imparted an absolute ton of information about Icelandic history, culture, politics and all sorts as well as telling us fascinating facts about the landscapes and animals we encountered. We had lots of stops at various locations and Dylan kept us to schedule really, really well. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was also fabulous. The scenery was amazing, the wildlife was amazing - would definitely recommend this tour without reservation.

So much scenery packed in one day - Highly recommended if you're looking for a day trip to Snaefellsnes peninsula from Reykjavik that hits up all the key spots (Kirkjufell, Djúpalónssandur beach, Arnarstapi, Yrti Tunga beach). You'll be treated to rocky sea cliffs, remote beaches, and stunning mountains. The tour guide/bus driver, Höskuldur, was like our Icelandic dad for the day. He made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of, and kept us entertained with stories and historical background throughout the journey. This is a great trip if you're looking to tour an area of Iceland that feels more remote than the Golden Circle and south coast, but still want to get back to your hotel in Reykjavik at the end of the day.

Great experience with Gunnar - English Version below:
-----
The tour was fantastic and a lot of fun! Gunnar, our guide, shared many stories about the 13 Yule Lads, ghosts, and tales from his grandmother, as well as interesting facts about volcanoes. It was truly fascinating, and you could really tell that he does it with passion.
We had numerous stops along the way, and Gunnar even added two extra ones to show us a beautiful view and a volcanic crater.
Although you're traveling with the group on the bus, you can explore each location independently. There are also regular opportunities to grab something to eat and use the restroom.
The bus is very comfortable, though the legroom could be a bit more generous (especially for tall people).
All in all, I can highly recommend the tour!

- We loved this tour! I was initially worried about such a long day on a bus, but the scenery is so breathtaking and our guide was so knowledgeable (Thank you Marianne !!!) that it made the hours fly by! Marianne is a fabulous guide-personable, kind and incredibly well studied on all things Iceland. We really appreciated the small bus/ small group size as it made it feel like a more personal/meaningful experience. It was an incredible day and I’m really glad we booked this tour. We learned so much and have some great memories of visiting your beautiful country! Definitely worth the price and we would highly recommend it to anyone considering this tour.

Great - Beautiful surroundings and lots of highlights! It's a small group tour and there are fewer people at sights compared to places on the South Coast or Golden Circle.
I have been on several tours in Iceland and our guide for the Snaefellsness tour, Dylan Kincla, has been the best of all! He is professional, kind and easily responds on questions or adjustments. This guided tour was super interesting and informative without exaggerated entertainment.

Peninsula Tour - continuing on with weather modifications - Albert did a great job managing all aspects of the small group tour from driving to narrating in both German and English. He proved great context for all of the sites on the tour. The weather did not cooperate with some of the activities but he provided modified plans and good spirits to make the tour enjable

- Hershey, our driver and guide was super! He is so knowledgeable and he took care of us very well! If it was not for the bad weather, I would’ve given it a perfect rate. I believe in a clearer day it would have been more beautiful. I barely saw anything since the fog and the mist are covering the mountain tops and overall just given a melancholic vibe. Although that is nothing that the guide nor the operator can do about really. It’s just nature. But overall a good experience! ☺️
