Highly recommend this tour - Excellent food tour in Reykjavik with Thor! He told a lot of good Iceland info while we tried a variety of Icelandic dishes, all of which were delicious. Good balance of foods and walking between each stop. The BBP hot dog stand had an enormous line on Saturday afternoon so we did not wait, but they gave us vouchers to use another time during our stay. Highly recommend this tour.

Great experience!! - Bonnie was a wonderful guide. Her English is so good I thought she must have spent time living in America. She is smart and witty. The food was great and authentic The entire experience was a blast.

Delicious Food, Solid Drinks, Fantastic Guide - Hands down one of the best food/drink tours we've had. Quality of food, variety, and pacing/sequencing of the stops was perfect. What really made it a stand-out experience was our guide, Stevie. I've never done a food tour where our guide was as knowledgeable as he was on Icelandic history. We went to two museums earlier that day, and learned more from Stevie about Iceland than from both of them combined, in a more engaging way. If you're looking for an activity in Reykjavik to maximize bang for your buck in terms of food, drink, and history, then you won't go wrong with this tour. I will be recommending it to any friends traveling to Iceland.

Great Tour! - Our Reykjavik Evening Icelandic Food and Drink Tour with Minty on Friday was absolutely wonderful. The selection of restaurants and bars was excellent; and we were able to sample a variety of excellent traditional and more contemporary dishes and drinks, including, among others, cod plokkfiskur, fermented shark (washed down with Brennivin, a.k.a. "Black Death"), langoustine tacos, Reykjavik's famous hot dog, and a wide variety of wines and local beers. Our guide, Minty, was gregarious, knowledgeable, and a great storyteller who is obviously very proud of his country and eager to answer your questions about it. Highly recommended!

Super Fun Evening Activity - The Food and Drink Adventure is a must do for all visitors to Reykjavik. Our guide, Haddy, from Wake Up Reykjavik (WUR) had a wealth of knowledge and experience with the tour. He made the evening fun and enjoyable. Like the other WUR food tour, this one should be started on an empty stomach. While the portions sampled at each restaurant may appear small, they will fill you up and there are FIVE stops!

Incredible Food - Incredible Hosts - A Must for Anyone Visiting Reykjavik - My fiancé and I did the food tour our first day in Reykjavik and it was incredible! Thor guided us and was an awesome host and was super insightful about the places we visited and food we were eating and gave us tips for the rest of our trip. We loved it so much we did another tour when we returned from our Ring Road trip to hit different spots. This time we had Ben as a guide who was just as great! All of the locations served incredible food and you get a chance to try a lot of different things for really great value. Wake Up Reykjavik was great to work with. Would recommend everyone do this food tour!

Beyond Expectations! Alma was Awesome! - A friend in Florida said if we did nothing else in town this was the thing to do! They were right! What a great experience! Alma was the BEST guide! Knowledgeable! Kind! Funny! Charming! Perfect English! The food and beverage stops were awesome and I tried things I otherwise would not! Then she sent us a detailed email with the names of the establishments and a complete description of the foods we had! Clearly passionate about her homeland and a truly wonderful young lady! This was so fun!
