Amazing viewing of the Northern Lights - The boat was a good size for the amount of viewers. Their cold suits worked perfectly and everyone was very nice. It took approximately 25 minutes to get to the area where the northern lights were and they were spectacular

Better than The Smiths…. - Sometimes, your luck is in and ours was for this trip. We were treated to the Northern Lights in all their glowing glory. Our guide on the boat was good at steering us to where the lights were forming as they built and by the end we were surrounded with colours and vibrancy. They’d let me switch our night as I’d noticed the skies might clear on another evening, and it paid off. Worth getting the Aurora app to spot when the lights are likely to be on display and the local weather app is also reliable as a way of checking when the skies may clear - proved to be more accurate than the BBC one I usually use. Fabulous trip to top off a wonderful few days in Reykjavik.

Great experience! - Though seeing the lights aren’t guaranteed, they let you come again as many times as you like/ reschedule if you don’t see them. I was lucky enough to catch quite a few green streaks on my first try! :)

Although it was cloudy,... - Although it was cloudy, we were able to see some lights before we even left the dock! Unfortunately there were some issues with the boat, so we were unable to get out past the glow of the city and had to return early, but the team were very kind and professional and we were offered alternatives and compensation. Everyone on board had a a good time regardless and the boat was very comfortable.

Northern Lights cruise - A pleasant cruise on the water to look at the Northern Lights. The crew was very attentive and made sure all the passengers saw the various manifestations of the Northern Lights

”Meh” - Our guides were kind and knowledgeable, but a trip without seeing lights is basically a meh experience. Perhaps if the boat was nicer, or instead of offering a free pass to try again (sorry, how many will have the luxury of being able to use that?), some sort of freebie would be a better choice, Perhaps a t-shirt or some kind of memorabilia that indicates “We tried, but it was lights out!” or even a complimentary beverage when it became “clear” that the skies weren’t. The lack of Northern Lights is not why this trip didn’t get a 5-star rating. It was the lack of trying to make the trip some sort of fun that left us feeling “meh.”

Northern Lights Tour - The trip was well organized and left on time, but the quality of the Northern Lights was poor, especially compared to the Viator advertisement. Not a "wow" experience, but I know they are not guaranteed.
