Embark on a journey to Yoko Ono’s Imagine Peace Tower, a monument dedicated to John Lennon that stands as a symbol of global peace aspirations. This 1.5-hour nighttime voyage includes a back-and-forth boat trip from Reykjavik Old Harbour to Videy Island, and a guided stroll to the inspiring art display, illuminated by geothermal light. Watch a short video narrated by Ono herself, take in the serene vistas at the artwork, and indulge in a warm beverage before heading back to Reykjavik.

- Not recommended for travellers with limited mobility as it involves a walk on an unpaved road and a steep climb to a viewing platform.

Meet us in the ELDING ticket office located at Ægisgarður 5c by the Old Harbour district in Reykjavík. Once at the pier, simply follow the red colour to find us! Be sure to arrive at least 15 min. before departure to ensure enough time to check in and to board the boat.

Cold windy hike, but worth the effort! - The crew was so helpful. We enjoyed the boat ride and the tour. The hike to the tower in the cold wind was a bit harder than I expected. One of the crew members walked slower with me as the others headed more quickly to the tower. The views were beautiful and the kids got to ring the bell when we stopped at the Church. It was a fantastic memorable trip. Very glad we went, and definitely recommend it.

Northern lights and Peace light!! - This tour far exceeded my expectations. As soon as we set out on the boat toward the island, Rob the tour guide said the Northern lights are out. We climbed to the top level of Bost and saw the Northern lights as we approached the Peace tower light. Best night ever!!

Fantastic experience - Fantastic experience. Very moving. Fun to be on a deserted island at night. Megan, our guide, was brilliant. She was very friendly and informative & took amazing photos as we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights at the same time - bonus!! Would definitely recommend this trip, even if you’re not a John Lennon fan.

Great tour with a small... - Great tour with a small group, 8 people. Walking around the uninhabited island with cold wind and creaky dock was a rare experience

We loved this trip. The... - We loved this trip. The captain of the boat was a great driver. The guide gave us a history of the light and a tour of the church on the island. Loved the music playing Imagine by the light. And we saw the Northern Lights which was a plus 👏🏻. Thanks so much.

Wonderful tour with very knowledgeable guide - What a trip! Megan our host was so knowledgable about the island and the peace tower. Great small group and the northern lights was an added bonus!

Great! - As a big fan of the Beatles this was a must in our trip. You get to see a bit more than just the light as you step into the island. The view of the city is nice and we were lucky to see the northern lights from there too!

A great place to express world peace - The tour guide was informative about Videy Island, the church and the Peace Tower It was a beautiful evening to take a short walk to the Peace Tower. Pictures were taken of the tower beams and different languages to express peace. It was disappointing that there wasn't a video from Yoko Ono and be able to place a message of peace as advertised for this tour.

Very, very limited tours - We signed up for this tour but they cancelled us on day of. No explanation. Unable to rebook due to their erratic schedule. Very disappointed. Wanted to see Peace light.
At least you can see the light beam from Reykjavik.
