Ilhas Dos Fidalgos - The Island of the Noblemen, this is the name the island of Chorao was given by the Portuguese, who captured this as one of their first conquests of their 451- years long rule. It is one of the most prominent areas for migratory birds in the country, and the famous Dr Salim Ali Bird sanctuary is an integral part of this island today!
This trail is a journey that uncovers the best of Chorao island - A boat ride into the mangroves, the Oldest Church of Chorao, One of the most unique temples in the country. The Island of Chorao is an exploration which balances everything in the perfect sense - the beautiful ecosystem, the lost heritage, inspiring stories and the most amazing travelers.

A must visit Chorao Trails. - Starting with a few delays and hick-ups, the trail started with an amazing mangroves and river boat cruise. Next was the Devki-Krishna Temple. The home-cooked snacks was smacking. The urak and feni testing was one of a kind experience.

The way the travel guide explained in depth about the historical part of everything helped a lot. - The trail was indeed worth it and enjoyed every moment of it.
From learning about birds, to learning about the history of Goa, temple, tasting food, a small hike to chapel and amazing foods and hospitality.

A great trail filled with history and nature - Our guide Rajat Betkekar was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the plants and birds, but the history of the island and Goa. He has a knack for storytelling that made the trail more interesting. The best part was definitely the start of the trail which is a short boat ride around the mangroves. We were able to get a sense of the ecosystem, seeing a variety of birds and fish.

A nature’s trail in one of Goa’s lesser known gems that soul traveling injected a soul into.. - The experience by Soul traveling was amazing with making us feel a step closer to the nature. I love it as it aligns with my thought of experiencing the natural and cultural aspects of traveling and exploring offbeat places and it provides exactly that. Keep up the good work.
And our guide for the day Royston was amazing with his very warm and friendly nature and his guidance into the details of the island was very enlightening indeed.

Good Nature trip in Goa. - Boat trip through mangrives was really good. We get to see lot of bird, and the explanation of the guide Roy was goid.
