Ilhas Dos Fidalgos - The Island of the Noblemen, this is the name the island of Chorao was given by the Portuguese, who captured this as one of their first conquests of their 451- years long rule. It is one of the most prominent areas for migratory birds in the country, and the famous Dr Salim Ali Bird sanctuary is an integral part of this island today!
This trail is a journey that uncovers the best of Chorao island - A boat ride into the mangroves, the Oldest Church of Chorao, One of the most unique temples in the country. The Island of Chorao is an exploration which balances everything in the perfect sense - the beautiful ecosystem, the lost heritage, inspiring stories and the most amazing travelers.
Note: This is not a Walking Trail. We would need transportation to travel from point to another during the trail. We, Soultravelling does not provide transport facilities.Please bring along your own vehicle to move around in the village.

Wonderful experience - Roy you are the rising star ... keep it up...I enjoyed the tour immensely lot of information ....enjoyed the ride in boat and homely food experience took and the urak cocktail was refreshing too

Chorao Island experience - We opted for the nature trail experience and the kulagad lunch experience with Soul Travelling - Royston was such a friendly and knowledgeable host during this journey. Thoroughly enjoyed navigating through the culture, architecture and local food across Goa and Chorao Island. Looking forward to another one ✌️

Offbeat travel in Goa: Exploring Chorao Island - What a wonderful day trip to Chorao Island we had with Soul Travelling! Indeed it fulfilled our souls, thanks to our trip ambassador aka amazing storyteller aka Royston! I'd recommend going ahead with Soul Travelling if you're really interested in doing some offbeat experiences and activities in Goa.

Wonderful experience!!!! - We've taken different paths from soul travelling on our first visit to Goa. We've been transported by ferry to Choparo Island. Then later mangrove forest and bird watching. With soul travelling, it's been a wonderful experience. I've learned a great deal about the local culture, traditions and history. Koonan's been our ambassador. He's made our experience so much better. Thank you Koonan and soul travelling for this amazing offbeat place exploration.

Great experince - It was a great experience to have a nature walk in Goa. Rajat who was hosting this event was very informative and trying to share all the knowledge he had about the island, flora and. fauna. Creatures found around.

Choodamani Island - Soul travelling host Karan koonan is very knowledgeable about this Island. He explained very nicely. We visited first boat ride in mangroves( best time to visit is oct to jan) , later visited a temple, had breakfast, church and mocktails. It's must do trail for everyone. But I felt he was explaining very fast.
