This picturesque tour offers a comprehensive journey through the Amalfi Coast. Our first destination is Positano, the loveliest fishing village on the Coast, neatly divided by a cliff into the beach area on the western side and the town center on the eastern side. We then drive to Ravello, where you can enjoy a lunch in a local restaurant with a fabulous coastal view. Sitting atop Dragone Valley, Ravello appears to be both a town and a garden concurrently.
Ravello’s prosperity dates back to its extensive Mediterranean trade and robust textile industry. As mentioned in Bocaccio’s Decameron as far back as the 14th Century, Ravello is home to two architectural gems known globally: Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo. These structures epitomize the combination of Moorish and Venetian architectural styles typical in the main areas of the Amalfi Coast.
