Prior to delving into the Mayan underworld, visitors will be led along the trails of our nature reserve, receiving a traditional Mayan greeting.
Participants will navigate and swim through stunning crystalline formations during a journey that spans no more than 1km and lasts about 1.5 hours.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience, especially with such a knowledgeable and kind guide as Tainara. Good entertainment for family and kids, caves are fantastic, good to explain geology and other concepts for the little ones.

Worth it! - Rio Secreto was amazing! Totally recommend it! I panicked (don't know how to swim) once it was time to go through the water. However the staff was great and helpful. The whole experience was very organized... the lunch was delicious too!

Rio Secreto and Tulum - Tainara took great care of us! Her English is perfect and she gave us lots of interesting information about the geology in the region as well as Mayan history. The cave system is beautiful, the water is refreshing and the gear provided was very helpful. The photos are a bit expensive but the photographer knows where to take stunning pictures and he’s prepared with excellent lighting to show off the beauty of the cave experience. The sun is very intense at Tulum so make sure you have good sunscreen and take advantage of the umbrellas offered.

Adventures in Rio Secreto and Tuluum - What a magical tour! Our guide Amber was amazing...so informative, patient, knowledgeable, supportive, encouraging and pleasant. I'm not a swimmer and she guided me through the deepest part and I felt safe in her hands. The wonders of the underground cave was a wonder to behold!! She led us through the rappelling part too. Who would ever think that I would dare to drop 15 feet into a cave on a rope. Amber and Talisman gave us skilled instructions which made the experience so wonderful! Thank you Talisman for safely hooking us up to the ropes and for the amusing sound effects on our way down. What a delightful young man! Amber, again thank you! The Tuluum guide was informative and great. Such a nice adventurous, memorable day!!

Amazing! - Tainata as the guide to the underwater cave water experience was incredible! She was a fantastic guide (answered all our questions) as well as a caring person who ensured the entire group enjoyed the experience!
Totally one of the best adventures I experienced thus far. Can’t believe this gem of nature was discovered less than twenty years ago! Let us preserve it for generations to come.

Great visit to the rio secreto - We had a great day out on this two part tour. In the morning we went to Tulum and then back to rio secreto for the afternoon. It was a fabulous experience, something we had never done before. Tainara our guide had very good english and was very friendly and informative. There were a couple of young children in our group and she looked after them really well. The caves were great fun, we had wet suits, wet shoes and helmets so were well protected, she made sure we were all safe. Food at the end was pretty nice overall.

Amazing tour of Rio Secreto caves - Fernando was an amazing guide! Rio Secreto was a beautiful place, and we felt extremely safe through the experience. We were able to get the tour both in Spanish and English so no one in our bilingual group felt left out. The tour guide answered all the questions we had, and it was clear he had lots of knowledge on the subject.

Wonderful - We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Stephanie, was wonderful and knowledgeable. Beautiful places. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable, lunch provided was very good.

Good experience - Río Secreto and Tulum two wonderful excursions! Negative point in Tulum is the guide's lack of willingness to explain, although it is the same in Río Secreto. That dedication. As Argentines, I was bothered by the noticeable difference they gave us in the explanations and treatment compared to North American visitors, looking for a tip in dollars. But beyond that, the experience and photos in Rio Secreto were magnificent. We would return with a less economical guide. Greetings!!!
