Pune to Delhi by Flight and 3-Hour Drive to Agra

Pune - Pickup at 5am from the hotel or any location in Pune, followed by a transfer to Pune airport for the flight to Delhi.

New Delhi - Upon arrival at the Delhi airport, a 3-hour drive along the express highway brings the traveler to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal.

Lunch Break - Lunch will be provided at one of the finest local air-conditioned restaurants (at the traveler’s own expense).

Mehtab Bagh - In the early evening, visit Mehtab Bagh, the moonlit garden believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlit nights, far from the bustling crowds. The garden complex is situated on the left bank of the Yamuna, opposite the Taj Mahal, where one can witness a beautiful sunset over the Taj.

Agra City Tour and 3-Hour Drive to Delhi and Flight to Pune

Taj Mahal - At 6am, the tour explores the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise (closed on Fridays). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created.

Agra Fort - Next, the tour visits Agra Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, this grand fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of courtyards, mosques, and private chambers within the fort echoes the story of the Mughal Empire.

New Delhi - Afterward, the drive leads to the Delhi airport for the return flight to Pune. Upon arrival, a driver will be available for pickup and drop-off at the desired location.

The pickup is scheduled for 5am from your accommodation in Pune, followed by a drop-off at Pune Airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi Airport, anticipate a 3-hour journey to Agra via expressway. Day one’s itinerary includes an excursion to Mehtab Bagh while day two involves a visit to Taj Mahal and then a pause for lunch. Following lunch, we continue to Agra Fort and there will be an opportunity for shopping in Agra. After completing the Agra tour, we drive back to Delhi to catch a flight from Delhi Airport back to Pune. Upon landing in Pune, transportation will be provided back to your hotel or preferred location in Pune.
