Well looked after, and we got very lucky and saw dozens of dolphins. - Great trip, staff fantastic, lucky to see 2 different types of dolphin. I messed up the booking via TripAdvisor and needed to get a closer pick up location. All sorted in impeccable English the evening before by calling the company number. Comfortable coach trip from near our hotel to the jetty in Puerto Rico, and boarding was straightforward. Best seats at the front and side went quickly, but if you're fortunate to find dolphins the crew will help you see them wherever you're sat. Journey out took about 45 minutes and the crew worked very hard to find some dolphins for us. The first group were a small pod of around 10 bottle nose ones, like Flipper. The boar stopped and the dolphins swam around us giving us great views. It was very rocky on the boat so no good pictures, and I put my phone away and enjoyed the dolphins. We then moved off and found a large pod of about 40-50 Atlantic Spotted Dolphins. These were much smaller and there were numerous babies swimming alongside their mothers. This pod was having a lot more fun around the boat, jumping out of the water and coming very close. After about 10 minutes it was time to come back to port, a journey of about 40 minutes. Some tips: It's a privilege to see these creatures, and the crew tried really hard to find them. Be understanding if they don't come to you when you're out. If you think you might get seasick take something like stugeron beforehand. Keep your eyes on the horizon to help your brain process all the strange motion of the boat and that helps avoid sickness. Take a jacket in case you get cold. It was cloudy for part of our trip and the sea breeze made me wish I'd taken one. Listen to the crew - they had to remind people several times not to lift up their small children ( the risk of dropping them overboard is significant if you do this when the sea is choppy). A crew member brought a small child up to stand on the captain's chair so he could see. All in all a great trip, and huge respect for the crew who worked so hard to make it safe and fun for everyone.

An Amazing Trip - Excellent service from start to finish. Picked up at the hotel on time in a lovely air conditioned coach and taken to the harbour. There was plenty of space on the boat and the crew were incredibly helpful and friendly. They worked tirelessly to spot a pod of dolphins and we were lucky enough to spend time watching them in their natural habitat while making sure we weren't disturbing them too much. I couldn't recommend this enough and if you're looking for trip to do then this is the one. Thank you to everyone on the Spirit of the Sea.

Great trip for dolphin watching - We saw dolphins jumping in the open ocean, I loved the trip but my wife felt a bit seasick. The staff are friendly

Amazing few hours! - I defo recommend this to anyone, it was super good value for money and, regardless of the dolphins, it was a gorgeous couple of hours out at sea! The crew are all lovely and made sure everyone was safe and having a good time, and made sure everyone got a good chance at seeing the dolphins! There were so many of them and it was magical to see them all so up close (we went for the 10am slot as according to a quick google dolphins are out most in the morning and evening- not sure how true that is but we definitely saw them!). Didn’t get any decent photos of the dolphins because I was terrified of dropping my phone in the ocean 😂 There was a free coach transfer from our hotel included which was about an hour’s drive away, so very grateful for this as we didn’t have to pay extra for that! It did get quite choppy the further out you got and when the boat stopped to watch the dolphins, so if you’re someone who gets seasick just be warned of that. The crew did have sick bags to hand out to anyone not feeling very well. There was also a toilet on board. When we got on the boat a photographer took our photo and we never saw him again until the end of the journey, when he got back on board via a speed boat and started flogging printed photos and keyrings to people (€15 for the both and they were so funny to us that we had to have them lol!) All in all a great trip and I’d highly recommend to anyone needing to fill a few hours on their holiday!

A Dolphin Good Time! - This trip was informative and fun! As like any sort of trip involving wild animals, don't expect to see anything. Luckily for us, we had a good 20 minutes worth of seeing dolphins, which was absolutely fantastic. Even the boat ride was a good time, though be prepared to hold on as the water does get choppy!

Top experience - Very friendly staff who also mastered the relevant languages. Nice clean boat, left on time and returned at the agreed time. Along the way we found a group of dolphins and we had plenty of time to admire them. Had a quick swim break on the way back, which was also fun. Recommended!

The crew was friendly and... - The crew was friendly and happy and they seemed to genuinely care about the wild life and the condition of the ocean. We saw some dolphins and it was easy to just sit on our seats with the kids and the crew made sure that everybody on every side of the boat saw the dolphins.
