Participants will not only learn practical instructions for draping a saree but also gain insights into the saree’s history, various draping styles, and how certain styles are associated with specific social classes or geographical locations. Additionally, stories about accessories will be shared.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to drape a saree independently and carry themselves with elegance and confidence. Welcome drinks such as warm black tea, cool buttermilk, or refreshing lime juice will be offered based on preference. Participants can choose accessories to complement their saree. A saree manual will be emailed for future reference. A diverse selection of sarees will be available for practice and to capture stunning photographs.
