Well worth it! - Max gave our family of 5 from the US a great day! Subiaco and Montecassino are breathtaking places to get away from the hustle and bustle of Rome for a day with Benedict and Scholastica. Max is a wonderful guide and we are glad to have made a new friend in Italy!

Wonderful place, absolutely worth visiting - Lovely place. Both Emil monasteries in the town of Subiaco are beautiful. The small lake with the waterfall is suggestive. It's a shame that the monastery of Santa Scolastica had a part covered for restoration work, but I had the opportunity to visit two secret caves that are not always open to the public and I was enchanted
