Be the early bird to catch awe-inspiring vistas! We will collect you from downtown Portland’s core, travel via our preferred way through the city’s westerly skyline, and descend into atmospheric, hidden neighborhoods. We’ll escort you to the Aerial Tram at OHSU. Enjoy the city’s finest craft-roasted coffee and delicious doughnuts while marveling at the dawning sunlight. We’ll ascend the summit of this impressive Italian feat of ingenuity as the initial rays of daylight expose the city’s brilliant hues. (Please note, due to shifting sunrise schedules and modified store timings, we might have coffee as our first activity.)
Once we descend back down, we’ll narrate the history of the bridge with its fanciful lights and guide you around the city that is bifurcated by this line of demarcation.
Construction on the Aerial Tram finished in 2006 to link the Oregon Health Sciences University’s principal site with the emerging South Waterfront neighborhood. You’ll share this ordinary tram commute with students and healthcare staff!
