Awesome and value for money - Really good tour. It was very easy to find the greeting person right off the ship. We were a little slow to get away, but this was not due to the tour operator, it was other guests on our bus being slow. You are on a mini-van that seated about 12 people. I picked this tour because it offered 3 experiences that weren't all available in 1 package through the cruise company. We had a lovely 16 year old girl Florencia take our tour. Full of knowledge and spoke perfect English. She took a sickie from school to run our tour so we were lucky. Don't worry about not getting back for disembarkation time. Tell the person running your tour the time you must be back and they are well aware of the requirements. We had plenty of time for all experiences and a little shopping. She mentioned on the way out of the port that it is really slow, overpriced, unreliable and a tourist trap to not have a pre-booked tour. Passengers need to walk independently from the port to random taxis outside. They will all massively overcharge apparently. The waterfalls and blue lagoon are absolute must do experiences in Port Vila. Very worthwhile. Take your swimmers and use the rope swings to jump in. The turtle experience was ok, but nothing special. Basically there's a rock pool type area where they have fenced a part off so the adult turtles can't escape. We went at low tide so they didn't really allow too many people to wade into the water because it made the water murkey. This meant that mostly you just had to watch the turtles from the top of a cliff. If you can manage it, try to figure out the tide time and ask your tour guide to go there at high tide, it would be better. Also at the turtle encounter, they have iguanas and they let you hold them. This is a really cool experience. Don't expect to hold a baby turtle. I did, however, hand feed an adult turtle with some fish pieces they had there. The food was just ok at the turtle experience, but if this bothers you after being overfed on a cruise, then you are maybe a little precious and should stay onboard. There are no shops or bars between the 3 experiences. They sell some overpriced beers at each place at small stands (about $10AUD). I recommend the Traditional beer (got at a small stand near the waterfall). It's 13.5% and pretty good. The apprehension I had in deciding on this tour was that it could be a poorly run tourist trap in a country that takes advantage of Australians. Don't think this with this tour. It is well run and we'll worth it. I was very impressed.

An experience we won’t forget - Everything was amazing! We were accommodated to be able to go with another group we were travelling with. And our guide Flo…she was the highlight of the trip! Loved hearing all about the history and current affairs of islands. Our favourite location was the waterfall but every stop was amazing and an experience we will not forget. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour - and the people were amazing to deal with! - Millie waited for us at Port Vila - even though we were to leave at 8.30am and didn't get of the ship till 10.30!! She organised another bus to come for us. Our trip to Blue Lagoon and Rara Falls was great. The local people shared their beautiful land/community picnic areas with us. The friendly, kind service (even though the bus was a little rustic lol) was perfect. If back again, I would not hesitate to book with viator again.

Great Value & Trip.... Must do in Port Villa - This is a must do in Port Villa. Steven was our driver and was informative and friendly. Swimming with the Turtles and Blue Lagoon was the highlight.

A great overview of the natural highlights of Port Vila - We loved swimming with the turtles and the lagoon was very interesting as was the short walk to the waterfall. Sharon (I hope I got her name right) was an excellent guide. She carried on with tons of information even though half of our group spoke no English and one teenager never even looked up from his game to acknowledge anyone’s presence. The lunch was very good. We highly recommend this tour.

Great way to see Port Vila from a cruise ship - Enjoyable full day. Our driver, Steve, and our tour guide, Louise, were very nice. The buffet was just OK. We were fortunate to share our can with some very nice people which made it even more fun!

If you do one thing, make it a Vila Hope tour!!! - Oh wow! This experience was amazing and topped off our trip to Vanuatu! Both Sharon and Simon were fantastic guides and their knowledge of the country, islands, provinces, history, plants, food and cultural information was truly inspiring. This was the highlight to end our trip here, Sharon and Simon know their stuff! We cannot thank them enough for what they shared with us. Thank you. Thoroughly recommend!!!

Port Vila full day experience - Our tour guide Jack was absolutely amazing and couldn't do more for us! Something to be aware of, there are little fire ants in the trees at the waterfalls but you can barely see them. Once they get one you you need to get hand sanitiser to stop the itch/burn. Jack had a bottle in the car and sprayed us all down which made it stop straight away. The cascade walk is good and very beautiful and there's different swimming holes for different levels of strength. The turtles are AMAZING! Be careful of the side stairs into the penned bit in the ocean, they are very slippery and my husband really hurt himself which then put him out for the rest of the trip, so use the access via the sand. The lunch was so delicious! Blue lagoon was very pretty, the water is very cold and there's people everywhere! Great vibe and well worth the look. We did stop at the markets, most are very pushy for you to buy from them. Unfortunately I did have one woman rip me off, we always pay more than they tell us anyway, so for me it was disheartening that she lied to me after saying one price and then doubled it at the end. I won't return to the markets in Port Vila next time. It rained on and off all day but Overall a fantastic trip, thanks Jack for an amazing day!!

Shocking should have been cancelled - No memorable moments on this tour. It should have been cancelled Because of rain all the time I also lost my I phone 12 on this Tour which was very upsetting & costly Not sure where I lost it but on return to ship I had the van from tour with [email protected] return to ship But there was no phone on van I am pretty sure I left it on van seat But it is gone & has caused me a lot of distress & costly buying new one & getting information back from ICloud I have used Viator for a lot of years Booking tours around the world burrito not think I will use your company again
