Must-do tour of Efate - We took this trip with Vincent as our guide and and Phillipe as our driver and it was fantastic! Such a jam packed day of wonderful sights. Our driver was fantastic, the guide super knowledgeable and friendly, and this was such an efficient way to see our top sites - I'd recommend this tour (and Yumi tours, in general) to anyone.

Perfect tour - Julian is a really nice guide, he introduce a lot during the trip. Good view, nice guy, enjoy swimming. Everything is perfect, highly recommended.

Great Day Out with Yumi Tours - Well-organised trip with a friendly, professional guide who explained everything clearly—even with different itineraries in the group. I was the only one going to Hideaway Island, and they made sure I was looked after every step of the way. They were kind enough to make a quick stop so I could buy a phone charger, and also helped other travellers exchange currency on the way back—such thoughtful service! Blue Lagoon was the highlight, but Hideaway Island and Eden on the River were also fantastic. Tip: Bring two towels—you’ll be in and out of the water all day!

Excellent one day combo trip! - An excellent well organised day from Yumi Tours. Thoroughly enjoyable with great visits to Hideaway Island, Eden river and Blue lagoon, and a lovely lunch! Huge appreciation to Yumi for not cancelling despite the morning part of the tour being just me. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Fun, informative and mind blowing - We had the best day with Philip, he was very welcoming and accommodating. He was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend using Yumi, we did multiple trips with them and all were excellent 👍

Best day out Snorkelling and swimming. - The views were amazing. Snorkelling was terrific. So many colourful fish. Water crystal clear. Stan was our guide 👍 we had already been to blue lagoon so he took us to the coffee factory instead. Bought 1 kilo of beans to take home. A great day! The only downside is you have to hire snorkel gear as not part of tour. $47 AU for two.

The worse day tour - I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the "Hideaway Island Combo Day Trip with Yumi Tours" I participated in yesterday on 10 June 2025 in Port Vila, and to request a refund of 80% of the total cost due to the significant shortcomings and unmet expectations during the experience. Upon arrival, I was dropped off alone at Hideaway Island. The tour guide informed me that he would be attending to another group with more participants and would not accompany me. As a result, I was left entirely on my own, without guidance or support. This was not what was advertised or expected from a guided tour. When I inquired about snorkeling activities, I was told by restaurant staff on the island that it would be dangerous to snorkel without a guide due to sharp reefs and strong currents. I was also surprised to learn that I needed to hire an instructor separately and bring my own equipment—none of which was communicated beforehand. There were no lifeguards or safety personnel present, and I did not feel safe participating in any activities. In the second part of the tour, the guide suggested that I pay again to join the next day’s tour as a form of compensation. This is unreasonable and unacceptable. I should not be required to pay again to make up for a service that was not delivered properly the first time. Furthermore, I spent only ten minutes at the Blue Lagoon after a lengthy and unproductive discussion with the guide, wasting valuable time on my short holiday. Only the third activity of the day met expectations. Given the overall experience, I believe a refund of 80% is fair and justified. I do not accept the 1/3 refund that was offered, as it does not adequately reflect the extent of the inconvenience and disappointment I experienced. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a prompt resolution. Please confirm and advise on the next steps for processing the refund.
