From there, transfer to an executive shuttle van for a picturesque drive up the hill to the castle. The entry fee to the castle and gardens is included in your fare.
Enjoy an hour and a half to explore the castle and its gardens. Afterwards, you’ll be transported back to the harbour for a second water taxi ride to Steamer Basin, located in the heart of Dunedin.
From Steamer Basin, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to the iconic Dunedin Railway Station and Toitu, the Settlers Museum. This is also where the cruise ship shuttles depart to return to the port.

- Trips from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and the 11:30 am trip depart from Back Beach, Port Chalmers.
- Trips at 11:00 am and 12:10 pm depart from Steamer Basin, Dunedin city.
- Our guide is available for the transport and entry to the Castle only. The tour of the castle and gardens is self guided.
