The route includes a mix of on and off-road tracks and offers breathtaking views of the lakes and ocean if the weather conditions are favorable. Our team of experienced guides will ensure your safety and provide concise information at each stop. Make sure to have a valid driver’s license if you wish to drive. This tour aims to appreciate the scenery, not to compete.
Route:
- Start from Fenais da Luz (Northern coast)
- Stop at Pico da Cruz (845 meters altitude) featuring views of Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Rasa, and Sete Cidades lagoon
- Visit Vista da Rainha/Miradouro das Cumeeiras, a viewpoint for Sete Cidades, Green and Blue Lagoon
- Stop at Cerrado das Freiras
- Drive through the village of Capelas
- Return to Fenais da Luz
- Driving License(+18) is required for drivers

Dune Buggy w/ ATVs tour - Trip was a great experience! It ended up a misty on the top of the mountain but the guide added some extra spots to make sure you still got a good view. Definitely recommend!

Awesome!! - This trip was absolutely amazing! We went with our family on the side by side buggy. It was the best mode to get to all the viewpoints. We had a 7 year old with us and there’s no way we would have gotten to see so many different points if he had to walk to them all. The view of Sete Cidades was like nothing we ever seen before. Totally exhilarating! Plus, the ride was super fun and gorgeous driving through the different paths along the way. Guides were friendly and informative too. Highly recommend! It was the highlight of our trip.

Great ATV ride to the blue and green lake! - Great tour of the blue and green lakes on an ATV. Vehicles were in great shape and the instructor did a fantastic job keeping the full group together. A must see experience when visiting the Azores

Great tour, Bruno is the man! - Bruno was an excellent guide and kept the tour a perfect length with a good amount of stops and story telling.
I highly recommend this tour to see a part of the island you would otherwise miss by just driving to the lakes.

Best activitie in Azores - My family and I took a tour and we simply loved it, the guide was super helpful and attentive, always ready to help and cheerful! The landscapes were breathtaking. Our buggy smelled like new, the drive was very comfortable. They also provided us with warm gloves and coats. simply 5* when we return to azores we will definitely repeat!
