• Fenais da Luz - This parish on the northern coast of São Miguel island marks both the beginning and end of the tour. The journey starts on paved roads, leading to a scenic ride along the seafront and exploration of dirt roads in the area.
• Muro Das Nove Janelas - Situated near Serra Devassa, the Muro das Nove Janelas is an aqueduct recognized as a heritage site of historical significance.
• Pico da Cruz - Standing at 845 meters, this mountain offers a stunning view akin to “Miradouro da Boca do Inferno,” but from a higher vantage point. Accessible by quads, it provides an even more spectacular panorama due to its elevation. From here, one can see Lagoa Rasa, Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul, and the entire crater of the dormant Sete Cidades volcano. In favorable weather, this is a tour highlight, offering a near-complete view of the island from the summit.
• Miradouro Das Cumeeiras - This viewpoint offers a chance to admire the beauty of Lagoa das Sete Cidades and its surroundings, as well as part of the north coast of São Miguel island.
• Vista do Rei Miradouro - At 540 meters high, this viewpoint provides a unique and panoramic view over the Sete Cidades crater. Depending on weather and road conditions, a similar view can be enjoyed from “Miradouro das Cumeeiras,” offering a stunning perspective of the green and blue lake from the opposite side of the crater.
• Cerrado das Freiras - Here, expect to traverse dirt paths encircling the Blue Lagoon in Sete Cidades, with breathtaking views over the lakes.
• São Vicente Ferreira - Located on the north coast of São Miguel island, this parish is one of the transit villages on the return journey to the meeting point. The route passes by Poços (a bathing area) and the site of the old whale factory, inactive since 1970, where only the chimney remains. A dirt path connects this parish to Fenais da Luz.
• Fenais da Luz - Returning to the starting point, the tour concludes with exploration of seafront dirt roads.
